Well to be fair Kate has been part of the musical scene much longer than people think, as she has done many gigs, but she actually become well let's say 'big' so could have been writing about 'blah, blah, blah'. I dunno *giggles*. I suppose your right.

I've known all about Kate even before CAV got its release and her rise to stardom hasn't been that long in length.

 

This doesn't show her off in a good light at all :( Not that the album does either but still.

 

For me this song works merely because of its glossy production values rather than lyrical content [as was the case with "Foundations"]. Whether the public will take up Nash on a song where production is its strongest aesthetic over lyrics remains to be seen though imo...

Yeah, you do have a point, i actually have really enjoyed Kate Nash's album, even i do admit that some of the songs, are well not very good, i still like them for some odd reason. I'd love her to release 'We Get On', definately a great song.

I'd like her to go with "Mariella" if I'm honest. One of the few tracks which highlight the talent she actually has...

 

I think a lot of the problem with the album for me is the fact that she rushed it to capitalise on the success of "Foundations", had she waited I suspect the album would have been far stronger [though this is difficult to prove obv].

Yeah 'Mariella' is very good, it'll be awesome if that got a release too. Yeah i agree, i think if she did take her time it would be a lot better then it is now.
