Undercover were pretty bad, but they had one of the VERY few opportunities to feature on a dance top4 in the singles chart back in 1992.

I dont know about KLF, but I've heard the first trance songs were out about in 1991 with Papua New Guinea and Age Of Love.

i think that like 'cafe del mar', 'age of love' was first out in the early 90's but didnt chart until much later when the whole ibiza thing took off and trance became more popular....

why is it though that 'cafe del mar' is often refered too as 'the one that started it'... ?

There were loads of dance top 4 (?) hits in 1992...why the biggest selling song of the year was by Snap. Then you had all the big hitting rave tunes from The Prodigy, SL2, Shut Up and Dance, Smart E's...

I've never heard 'Papua New Guinea' described as trance but I guess it fits...but the KLF / Moody Boys were doing that kind of music a good two years previously.

Ahhhhh! I see. Back in 92 though it was halcyon days for dance!
I think it happened again in 1999 or 2000. 2000 has the record for the most dance songs in the top10 - 8. And that happened more than once that year
I dont know about KLF

are they the track attackers??? are they the mic wreckers??? are they the bass injectors??

i wonder if there is anybody in the world who would know theese questions

whatever sheffield dave (hp baxter) may say the klf sound $h!t,

yeah yeah yeah their scams might be fun to read up on, but c'mon ffs the records are utter w***. people have just been conned by all the bull$h!t and intersting stunts by rock hacks.

well i guess theres one way to look at it, on the downside they may have invented n-trance and all that aatw $h!te, but on the upside surely scooter are germany's answer to the flight of the conchords.

think gonna stick to rammstein and the opinion that Depeche Mode were really really important to house music and actually released the first house music record
