Fergie has befriended japanese superstar Koda Kumi. Although they met a few years ago, lately they have been seeing a lot of each other, and are supposedly planning to record a song togeter, to rise Fergie's profile in Japan, and create a platform for Kuu-chan to break into the western market. Sometimes because Kuu isn't very good at english, they have to have translators with them to talk :lol:

 

Koda Kumi is currently the most popular female artist in Japan, with five albums, three 'best' collections and a new single 'Ai No uta' released next week, the Kuu train currently seems to be unstoppable. Some of her hits:
