morning

so i understand that there are some confusions and frustrations following the announcement i am supporting Take That and postponing my headline tour. i want to attempt to clear things up and hopefully soothe the waters a little.

firstly i want to point out that the invitation to support Take That came rather recently which led to some tricky last minute decisions. i don't want to let too much daylight in on what occurs behind the scenes but suffice to say it costs money to tour and doing both simply wasn't viable. i hope you understand why i made the decsion i made.

secondly the reason i didn't mention the postponed tour in my post on friday is a) i was waiting until the new tour dates were confirmed (they will take place in march, to be announced very soon) and B) i wanted to think of the perfect thing to compensate the people who already bought tickets and spent money organising travel and accomodation to come and see me. i have a couple of ideas how to make it up to you.

so, to clarify,

my headline tour will take place in march and i will make sure it'll be fabulous

the Take That tour sees me performing at 34 arena's and i can't wait to join the boys

there will be some kind of thank you from me to those of you who bought tickets for the tour already. at the risk of being sentimental, i am so fond of you all and truly appreciate your support. i don't take your loyalty for granted.

i hope i've managed to help appease you. there are many reasons to be cheerful at the moment. doing the tour with Take That is one of them.

I think its really bad when artists do this kind of thing. Its not very considerate or loyal to her genuine fans.

At least she had the decency to let everyone know, and done it herself. I've got so much respect for her for doing that.
