Well, if they were ALL willing to take the job then I think either Scolari or Hiddink would've been the best choices, but seen as the foreigners didn't want the job I think the best British manager would've been O'Neil.

What do YOU think?

I wanted Arsene Wenger to get the England job and the FA have announced ow that they approached him, but bar him it would have been O'Neill and then McLaren for me.

Allardyce.

But thinking about it he was never likely too as he is too much like Jack Charlton or Brian Clough. The type that are interviewed but never get the job as they are too forthright.

As long as it wasn't OUR Scolari :D

But I think Mourinho would now be the best solution to ANY national team.

I don't mind you get Scolari after the World Cup, as long as Mourinho coaches our :D

Welcome to Buzzjack! :cheer:

You're keeping Scolari which is good for you :D and so we decided to have Steve McClaren <_< (and Scolari didn't want to go to us -_- )

I wanted Wenger to get the job. Despite being french, he has managed in England for 10 years now so he knows how the press work and is thoroughly professional and knows several of the England squad. I very much doubt McClaren will do a good job in charge but anyway we'll have to wait and see.
