You know what? I might just echo you there! 'Carte Blanche' is up there in my top 5 trance tracks of all time. Other contenders...

Ralph Fridge - Angel

Angelli Nelson - Everyday

Bedrock - For What You Dream Of (not trance, strictly speaking, but this track is the epitome of euphoria).

Trouser Enthusiasts are basically definitive of euphoric trance. So many incredible productions. Some of my favs include:

Alabama 3 - Ain't Goin' to Goa (Trouser Enthusiasts Peroxide Evangalist Mix)

Anggun - Snow On The Sahara (Trouser Enthusiasts Kangaroo Juice mix)

Peach Union - Sorrow Town (Trouser Enthusiasts Teenage Abottoir Mix)

Honorable mentions:

Paul Van Dyk - We Are Alive

Coast 2 Coast - Home

Agnelli & Nelson - El Nino

Carte Blanche is fantastic as well!

Is there a difference between euphoric trance and standard trance (like 'the KLF' for example).

Li Kwan - Point Zero (original version)

Marmion - Schoneberg

Binary Finary - 1998

i dont call 'klf' trance... :) i wouldnt even call them 'dance', but rock with a dance beat. as far as im concerned 'proper' trance is euphoric, it initiates euphoria.

Binary Finary - 1998

hi russ! :) i too LOVE binary finary 1998/9, which was i believe the very last track to be played on radio 1 on milennium night.

OMG now this is my sort of topic. I agree with Carte Blanche and the Riva mix of Tremble. Other neck-on-the-back standeruppers are the Rob Searle mix of Frankie Goes To Hollywood "Power of Love" this one will builds so beautifully then drops at break-neck speed. There is an awesome instrumental tune by Darren tate and Jono Grant called "Nocturnal Creatures" which is amazing. Actually virtually anything by Darren tate is brilliant - the man is a genius!!!!

There are loads more i'll have to have a think..... :)

agreed about darren tate (are you on darrentate.com?), he even does the cheesy side of trance well, 'destination' is superb.

Another one of Darren's euphoric anthems is "Eternity" love the guitar riff. "See Me Here" is equally outstanding.
jjay I love the Riva remix of Tremble, MTV would play that version. But recently I discovered the I Love Trance remix which I have to say is now my firm favourite remix of the track. Just brilliant.
Binary Finary - 1999 (Gouryella Mix)..... F*ck me sideways! How immense is that breakdown!
