Remember The 411? They had hits a few years ago including "On My Knees (ft. Ghostface Killah)", "Dumb" and "Teardrops" and were hailed as the UK's answer to The Supremes.

Well, Carolyn (the blonde girl) and Suzie (the one next to Caro in the picture above) left and were replaced with two other girls named Daizy and Nuala....AND they now have a new group name - Sunshyne.

It'll take some getting used to, because I'm a big supporter of The 411...but the new girls look good. They have a single out soon.

1. Sunshyne is a sh!t name whereas The 411 was cool.

2. Good as they are I don't think anyone could call them an 'answer to The Supremes' (though they have got the line up changes required, LOL)

So this is going to take a LOT of getting used to.

I think when music critics called them that, they were talking about harmonies and stuff. Carolyn, Suzie, Tisha and Tanya all sounded really good when they sung together.

 

I think Suzie's doing something solo, so you'll be hearing stuff from her I'm sure. B) She had a nice voice too.

'On My Knees' was considerably overrated, 'Dumb' is much, much better.

''China Girl'' pwns all their songs, imo :P

 

They had a spark about them, plus my friend who runs a 411 fan board has always kept me up on info, so it could be interesting..

Totally agreed, 'On My Knees' was dull as, especially compared to 'Dumb'.

 

It was all going so well for them before the release of 'Teardrops', I still think they could have saved themselves by releasing the album just after 'Dumb' was released, striking while the iron's hot and all that.

I really liked The 411, all of their songs were good especially 'Dumb' and the album wasn't bad either! :D
