'Deepest Blue' was great... 'Give It Away' was OK... the follow-ups were hellish Radio 2 fodder!

I adored them.

'Is It A Sin' was gorge...as was 'Shooting Star' and 'Give It Away'

'Deepest Blue' was an ANTHEM, too..

Do they have any new material in the pipeline?

Is It A Sin was amazing, as was Deepest Blue  infact they all were.

nope not heard anything about them for a while :(

They were great while they were around. Hated when they jumped on the bandwagon and their style changed for "Is It A Sin" although these were very well produced and melodic they just werent fitting in with the sound that made them huge. Deepest Blue is an anthem!!!

Matt Schwartz was behind DaDa which had a top 20 hit with "Lollipop" although he enlisted help from producer/vocalist Sandy Rivera and vocalist Trix.

He also produced various club hits under the names The Drill, Orielle and M'Black. He also has his own record label Destined Records.

Did some digging.... had no idea that Matt and Joel were behind Zoom's "Let It Go" out on Gusto in 2002. :o

Last time I heard they had a new single called "DJ Play That Record" but dont know how genuine it is!!!!

'Is It A Sin' was queazy, insipid rubbish.

The singer was bloody gorgeous though!

^

You don't know good tunes do ya?

Is It A Sin was AMAZING. The lyrics were gorgeous, it was fabulously produced and it was totally different from Deepest Blue's other stuff.

Yeah I do know good choons... You don't seem to know the rubbish ones though!

I can appreciate dance acts doing ballads or chill out tunes, I've liked a few by Fragma, but that's cos they were electronic ballads. The DB balads sounded like James Blunt or something, totally puts me off

Do agree with you there Skizzo (yes, I'm equally shocked aswell hehe...)

Anything within a million miles of sounding like James Blunt has got to be borderline illegal!

I've a radio rip of it, but it's very dissapointing and feels very generic.
