January 2, 200817 yr I like it too but So Real is better. I think Radio 1 would've supported So Real as its upbeat like Candy (which they A-listed), and it would've probably gone top10 or at least top20.
January 2, 200817 yr Author how this missed the top 20 in 2001 I will never know...one of my fave tracks ever: 9ZDViIV5MvE
January 2, 200817 yr Author A classic finally released here in 2002 but didn't make the top 10 :( u_lcVllqqik
January 2, 200817 yr how this missed the top 20 in 2001 I will never know...one of my fave tracks ever: 9ZDViIV5MvE The instrumental is one of my favourite trance songs ever. The vocal version is good but pales in comparison. I guess dance was losing its popularity in 2001, it definitely was the beginning of a steady decline
January 2, 200817 yr Author Then here's another one on the playlist: na9U2GBu-KU never heard this one before :o

January 2, 200817 yr Author one of my favourite ever singles from everyone's favourite pop princess...but it missed the UK top 20 :( 6tzFAoeq6hg
January 2, 200817 yr Author this scraped into the top 10 in early 2000 I think but I thought it was their best single since Se A Vide E in 1996 Atk_bC7TPRo

I guess dance was losing its popularity in 2001, it definitely was the beginning of a steady decline I wasn't impressed when this flopped...I bought the single on its release date in 1998/1999 this would have been HUGE

January 2, 200817 yr god, Radio 1 were so much better in 2000  The days when you could find Nsync, Louise, A1, Steps, S Club 7, Ricky Martin, Martine McCutcheon, Samantha Mumba, Mandy Moore, Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson, Billie Piper, Precious, Hear'Say, Dream, etc. on their playlist
January 2, 200817 yr this scraped into the top 10 in early 2000 I think but I thought it was their best single since Se A Vide E in 1996 I liked New York City Boy from 1999 ;)
January 2, 200817 yr I haven't heard that Bardot song in ages! I remember everyone was hyping them up to be big in the UK but it completely flopped. I may post some of my fave forgotten gems later. I'll have to have a think first. :o
January 2, 200817 yr Author some of those songs in your UK flops post I love...4 of them made my personal chart top 10: Paulina Rubio: #6 ATB: #3 No Angels: #2 French Affair: #2 and despite ATC's Around The World being a (massive) No.1 in my chart, they remained a one hit wonder and never charted again because I was insulted by the fact that My Heart Beats Like A Drum was almost identical...

I'll have to have a think first. :o I look forward to seeing them :) I have Bardot's first and second album... the first is pop perfection, I love every track on it...the second was bland apart from ASAP and Dirty Water which was done better by Made In London (though their video is not on Youtube)
