Yeah, I bought 'Affirmation' and her Greatest Hits a month ago, but you have to realise that the first album I have bought/received since 1999 or so was Christmas last year. :lol: I just stopped buying music because I didn't have room for a stereo in my room and couldn't be bothered to listen to music on PC, then when I got an MP3 player I just downloaded music from Limewire. :teresa:

 

In the last six months or so I've got back into following the charts, buying albums occasionally (I've got 14 since December and I've just ordered the other 4 Beverley albums) and I listen to music nearly all the time my PC is on.

 

I didn't really become a proper fan of Beverley until "Queen Of Starting Over" was released, then I started to look back at her older songs and found out there were some songs by her that I remember liking and some I didn't know that she sang ('Greatest Day' and 'Made It Back') Now she is one of my favourite artists, along with Amy Winehouse. :lol:

Bah I hate the charts now. :P They suck... it's a complete joke that Valerie, Apologize, No One are still there and showing no sign of going away. The good songs all flop these days and the only way to get a hit is through extreme hype (Hot Chip: good exception)... I miss the charts from 5 or more years ago. :(

I'm not sure why I decided to buy albums all of a sudden when I have Limewire, but I just did. I still use Limewire sometimes though. :lol:

But I kind of agree, as good as it is for this lot to have a long chart run with these songs, it's also stupid that their newer singles are being released and peaking at a low position while their old singles are floating about. Like "Just" by Mark Ronson and "Like You'll Never See Me Again" by Alicia will almost definitely be lower in the charts than "Valerie" and "No One" by Sunday.

It wont be that bad. :lol: She's jumped to #61 since yesterday! I'm guessing it will be mostly due to physical sales since I can't even see her on the iTunes chart. :unsure:

Ugh! I've been avoiding my head of year for the past few months and today she saw me when I was walking out of Maths. Now she has asked to have a meeting with me at 12 to find out what I want to do next year. I don't know what to say to her, I haven't really thought about it and I just think it's going to be very awkward. She'll be like "You should do accountancy because you do Maths" and I just think that would be quite boring, but I don't want to tell her that. :lol: If only I left my classroom a few minutes later I would have missed her. <_<

I'm at home at the moment, I have two free lessons, but I'm going to have to go back before the second lesson ends. I really don't want to go, but if I say I forgot I'm gonna have to see her at some point and say I'm sorry for forgetting and she'll only be mad at me for making her wait around.

 

I should have had the guts to say to no when she asked if I needed careers advice, but she was going on about how I never go to registration or PSHE and I could probably do with it. If I said no she'd say "What do you want to do next year then" and I wouldn't be able to answer. :lol: So she's like "Do you have a free period 3?", of course I had to say yes as she has everyones time tables so now I have this meeting with her. <_< It's ruined my day already, even a CD arriving isn't making me happy. :lol:

 

I think it's "Who I Am" but I haven't opened it yet. :lol:

I opened it and now I feel stupid, the case and the covers are all photocopied and I don't know if the CD is an official one. But then I realised the ad said

 

"On offer is what appears to be the original CD in very good condition with clean, unscratched case. The paper insert however looks like a copy of the original (which presumably went missing). Hence this low asking-price for a collectable item, for those more concerned with the music than the cover. "

 

I think the CD is not the original either, it looks like there is paper stuck to it from a photocopy of the original or something. I'm a bit gutted that it doesn't appear to be the actual CD, but it was cheap and I only wanted it to get more music from her, so hopefully the actual songs sound alright.

 

I'm kind of excited at listening to 'Hurricane Jane' because I think that's the song that most people don't like and I want to see if it really is that bad. :lol:
