'Enders to air one-hour wedding special

EastEnders is to air a 60-minute special in November for the soap's wedding of the year.

The Slater-Branning nuptials, filmed earlier this month, marks the end of the long-running storyline arc which has seen Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) embark on an affair with Max Branning (Jake Wood).

The groom-to-be, Bradley Branning (Charlie Slater), however, is oblivious to the fact that his father has been sleeping with his fiancée.

At last night's Inside Soap Awards, Rob Kazinsky - who plays Stacey's brother Sean - told DS: "It's the best script I've read in my time there, and literally, there is a cliffhanger every five minutes. My heart was in my mouth."

An EastEnders source added: "Everything's going to hit the fan."

The wedding scenes are due to transmit at the beginning of November. The nuptials will also see the entrance of Max's brother and Bradley's uncle, Jack, played by ex-The Bill actor Scott Maslen.

no offence but i cannot watch this storyline through until november, that'll be nearly be a year of this torture if not more, but knowing how the show has been written lately im sure it will be a great episode

I cant believe how much this storyline has got me hooked LMAO..I just wanna know whats happened to Ian :P

ROTFL @ Ben wrecking the room. Boy sit down.

Is Lucy in on it with Stephen?

I just want to know what Stephen has done to Ian, I hope the story don't drag on
You know, we've all bee saying recently how good the child actors on EE are. But last night, Ben was again awful. Much as everyone enjoyed the Stella storyline, I was never particularly impressed by the boy who plays Ben.

His well annoying. His whingeing is dreadful. They should well get a new actor to play him.
