Yup.

Very average episode tonight, unfortunetley.

I agree; Off_Da_Endz. A wasted opporunity; the scenes could have been so much better with a better script and a better Steven. I hope they don't pair off Steven and Stacey for too long; because it will really bring down her character.

EastEnders' Kevin Wicks will be killed off in a dramatic car accident on New Year's Eve.

Kevin, played by Phil Daniels, will be driving a bent motor from Phil Mitchell when a fault causes the crash. The vehicle flips through the air and lands on its roof, causing Wicks to be impaled on a piece of wreckage. His fate is sealed when the car bursts into flames.

A source told The Sun: "Kevin's death will be the horrid highlight of New Year's Eve."

The story starts when Phil blackmails Kevin by vowing to stop him from renting the car lot unless he gets involved in a vehicle scam.

Daniels announced that he was quitting the soap in August.

yea thats the one

and there was something similar with grant and phil im sure once - not that they died though

Daft Billy Mithcell has made a clever move- getting a £1,000 a week pay rise.

Actor Perry Fenwick; 45; who plays the Albert Square loser has signed a new two-year deal for a whopping £500,000.

That's £100,000 up up on Londoner Perry's last two year deal according to sources. He has impressed bosses with his harrowing Christmas portrayal of Billy's decline into poverty and that fight to support his wife Honey and newborn son.

Boses are also giving a six month contract to Cheryl Fergison, 43, who plays roly poly cult character Heather Trott. Cheryl said "This is a dream come true. I was only signed for a week to start of with. It's been amazing to see how viewers have reacted to her".

News of the World.

I'm glad they're keeping Heather on.

Not fussed with Billy.

I'd like to see them give Heather a serious storyline at some point though; her evil mother had potential to be a great plot but fizzled out quite soon. Now Heather's become more established, it could be a popular plot.
Sid Owen is confident that his return to EastEnders will be a hit with viewers.

The actor, who plays Ricky Butcher, is making a comeback alongside Patsy Palmer - better known as Ricky's ex-wife Bianca.

"They know these old characters work. We've proved that in the past and, providing the storylines are strong enough, it will work," Sid told the Daily Star Sunday. "By bringing us back they are also hoping to bring back a lot of the old viewers they've lost and the strong viewing figures of the past.

"It is so hard for a long-running soap like EastEnders to keep those viewing figures up and keep being a success."

Owen and Palmer have been asked to attend meetings with storyliners so they can offer their own input.

"They want a lot of the original ideas that made the two characters work so well in the first place," Sid explained. "Scriptwriter Simon Ashdown - who wrote a lot of the original Ricky and Bianca stuff - has been brought back to work on our stories. And they've also agreed to consult us about what plots they want to run. My first meeting with them is this week, when we will talk through ideas."

I saw Lacey Turner aka Stacey Slater in Bluewater Shopping Centre. She was with some big hench guy doing some kind of promotion about EastEnders, apparently there were a few EastEnders actors in shopping centres across the UK. She was really nice and signed lots of autographs; but she got pulled away after about 10 minutes to go to a diffrent place- I didn't realise it was her at first; she is well less tarty in real life. :o

oh cool

I wonder why they are doing that

its not like it needs the ratings its doing really well

maybe its to keep fans happy!

If Sean Slater comes to a shopping centre in london im sooooo there lol

have you all seen the advert for xmas day, its gonna be brill :w00t:
