I have really enjoyed the Christmas episodes. I knew it was going to be quite a big climax, but I didnt expect all the brilliant acting and all the viewers LOL.

Eastenders did a cracking job this year, we all knew what was gonna happen and yet it was still exciting :D

I hope Bradley and Stacey do get back together, but he is annoying me now lol.

She did worse to him, but its not as if he is a little angel, there was that thing with the other girlfriend and then the whole abortion stuff.

Tanya is doing great too, and Im really happy with the way they are going with her character (for personal reasons) I didnt expect her to last with this divource and dumping Max LOL.

yes bradley is forgetting what he did to stacey and what drove her to do what she did but im sure at some stage stacey will bring that home to him, again i hope they get back together

Like Mushy has said the plot is a lazy mish-mash of past storylines. It was saved however by some very good acting. Jo Joyner in particular was brilliant, and even the background characters (Jean and Dot) did an excellent job.

The recent episodes have been quite good aswell; the kid who plays Abi is actually VERY good, much better child actor than the kid who plays Ben anyway. The scene where she was left all alone in the hallway being ignored by Tanya and Lauren was pretty heartbreaking.

I agree Shoat. The storyline has been saved by some pretty damn good acting. It would be an outrage if Jo Joyner and Jake Wood do not win any awards next year. Lacey is great, but that's nothing new. Charlie Clements has also gone up in my estimation.

I won't be able to watch the new year episode because I'm at a party, but I'll make sure I watch it on Sunday; although I'm not sure if im looking forward to it or not.. Phil Daniels isnt all that of an actor but hopefully it will be saved by the fantastic Linda Henry.

Jo Joyner is brilliant, and so is Madeline Duggan (who plays Lauren). I really think she'll be one to watch out for in future. ^_^
Oh I agree Jark.. I can see something drastic happening with Lauren & Peter, as they have been called 'the mini Bradley and Stacey'.

Well they'll need to get another actor for Peter then. As he is pretty wooden!

Actually to be honest, Jake Wood is the ONE exception I thought; I've never rated him. The big downfall of the plot so far has been the idea that a humourless, moody, nasty sod like Max could have TWO women fighting over him (three if you count Bradley's mother). Max has not displayed ANY positive character traits since he first appeared.

Agree with you on the Kevin/Shirley plot though; I've got high hopes for this. Although Phil Daniels is not particularly great, nor Matt Di Angelo or the girl who plays Carly; it will be nice seeing Shirley, Pat and Denise being given something meaty to play with.

True. He pales in comparison in any scenes he has with Lucy, Lauren...or anyone really.

Denise is very under-used. :( She's fabulous! Aren't the Wicks leaving after New Years though?

Carly and Denise leave about a week or so after Kevin's death. Not sure when Deano's last appearance is exactly, I heard that he simply returns back to prison after Kevin's funeral and doesn't get released anytime soon.

Libby and Chelsea get sent to go live with Patrick and Yolande (which seems an odd idea given Chelsea was put in prison for deliberately screwing up the search for Patrick's attacker but there you go. Steven gets invited to live with the Beales. Poor old Pat's left with an empty house until she agrees to take in Billy and Honey.

Ooh! Ta for all that. Pat always does seem to need somebody there, doesn't she? And one can only imagine what Jane will make of having Steven live with them...

Sounds like EE will be remaining brilliant in the coming months. ^_^

Denise was so comical when she first joined

It seems they've forgotten that :(

Although it is probably quite difficult to remain comical when your daughter is in prison and

your husband killed in a car accident with his ex-wife

.

:o!

Does Shirley get killed too?!

No, sorry, bad wording on my part. She's in the crash but survives.

   Was so funny that Lauren even made a menu screen for the VCD!!, and Bradley pointing the remote selecting "Play Movie"
