Like people have said; Shirley and Denise were BRILLIANT tonight; Shirley demonstrated a side we've never seen to her before.

Carly going into the morgue and then just hearing her scream like that was an excellent touch; bizarre that the most convincing thing Carly has ever done was off-screen.

Similarly Kevin's Eastenders highlight came on his deathbed. :lol:

 

I did think it very touching when Carly said no to Shirley taking her in to see Kevin's body, then did a total u-turn.

i agree both shirley and denice were amazing in tonights episode and tonight was my fave kevin moment also,im glad he has been killed off i always found him anoying

Yeah Kevin kinda ruined the scenes in the car for me. :( If there was a better actor there I'm pretty sure I would have been in tears. Linda Henry just outshone him in those scenes. If she doesn't get a Best Actress nomination after that then I'm going to be shocked!

she is a brilliant actresss i do agree and i think eastenders should have strong nominations at the inside soap awards this year,denice shirley stacey tanya jean and dot have put in some fantastic performances,i would love to be able to do a poll here for eastenders fans to find out fave charactors etc on the show

the car "crash" was awfully done - it wasnt big at all - wierd! but he died?

Linda Henry is bloody amazing. I hope she gets some sort of recongisation. I didn't really she was so great; we have seen a diffrent side to Shirley.

 

I thought Diane Parish was also good. I didnt think, however, that Phil Daniels was good. What was with all the weird eye rolling stuff?.
