she is a brilliant actresss i do agree and i think eastenders should have strong nominations at the inside soap awards this year,denice shirley stacey tanya jean and dot have put in some fantastic performances,i would love to be able to do a poll here for eastenders fans to find out fave charactors etc on the show

OK - so I admit - I've been fairly intrigued by Eastenders lately. I still think its largely just average at best (way too unbelievable storylines and the acting is a bit wooden in parts) but it has been good over the festive season.

 

Now I know this is a bit sick .... but what song should be played at Kevin's service? Or the Wake after (OK some started celebrating it a bit before). I think Take That's Shine would be great!

Great episode last night. Apart from tonight I wonder if Deano will return. Considering Matt's huge popularity on Strictly, they would be mad to let him go now. I think they should bring him back in a few months, as a much stronger character. He has always been a bit of a weak character, so coming out of prison it would be nice to see a change as there is alot of things they could do with him imo.

 

Last night's special got over 11m viewers as well.

I assume these tickets they bought mean that you can leave whenever you want to because surely they didn't book them for a date when Deano was still in jail?

 

I don't know why they had to axe Carly and Deano because Phil Daniels decided to leave. I think both characters are independent and could have stayed around. I hope Carly and Shirley make amends with each other before she goes at least.

 

I believe Denise will return in a few months because she has only left to have her baby and spend some time with it. I think she's done well, doing all this work when she's quite obviously pregnant, no matter what camera angles or other ways they use to try and cover her bump.
