crazy, unbelievable and f*cking stupid.

Since when is the bloody SUN a reliable source. The amount of future EE storylines that they have printed about that NEVER happened is countless. Sounds ridiculous and far too Emmerdale for my liking.
You continuously harp on about your dislike of Dot, yet you watched a 30 minute episode of nothing but her on her own. How truly baffling.

As for the ratings drop, it is hardly a suprise. An women in her 80's talking into a tape recorder is hardly going to hold the attention of all those people with short-attention spans who just want slap-stick comedy all the time now is it?

Wrong again Mr Mac - didn't watch the whole 30 minutes - five minutes was more than I could take! Mum (81 years old herself) told me about it - she said it made her want to slit her wrists (and she's an Eastenders fan!) So I think I'll take her word for it (yes I know that it is perhaps unfair to take a second-hand review - but mum's a brilliant TV critic! She watches all the other soaps too but Eastenders is her favourite)

I do find your tone a little condescending too if you don't mind me saying Mr Mac! I don't expect slap-stick comedy from my soaps - I do ask them to stop being so bloody pretentious!

And speaking of 80 year old women commanding the screen - please watch Thora Hird's 'A biscuit under the staircase' - part of the superb Talking Heads series - you will see a truly wonderful performance from an elderly lady. June Brown is not however in the same class as Dame Thora Hird.

Sorry for ranting - but I do think you're taking your soaps way too seriously

If she does that'll be amazing. :o Do remember, as a child he was locked in a coffin wasn't he, and it'll be like it's repeating itelf!
and i agree for peopple who dont like Dot/EastNders why sit through a full half hour when there are many other channels to watch,i know i certainly dont sit through a half an hour of any tv that i dont like

Shameless - I'm surprised at you! You know me better than that. You know me and my jokes (I did think people on buzzjack had a sense of humour - but I'll remember to show more reverence the next time I visit the EE thread.)

I have to admit I didn't watch the whole episode (I've just told Mr Mac that I watched 5 minutes - when in fact it was actually about 10) I suppose I shouldn't have made a 'critique' when I didn't watch the whole thing - but the 10 minutes I saw was just so dull and and boring I couldn't stick with the full 30 minutes!

Every Sunday when we go and visit my mum she insists on watching the bloody omnibus! I just plain don't like Eastenders. Although I think I'm going off all soaps at the moment! In fact, I think in general, TV is crud at the moment - can't wait for Thursday and Ashes to Ashes! Back to mum though - I thought she had more sense. If it wasn't for the fact that she also likes the Simpsons I'd say she had no taste at all! I've yet to get her to watch some South Park - I'd like her views on oncle ficker!

I've just been watching an old episode of 'Clocking Off' on Dave (did you like that - it was a brilliant show). This particular episode was funny in that it had in it Tina O'Brien and Jack P Shepherd (Sarah Lou & David from Corrie) and they were playing brother and sister in this episode with Sarah Lancashire as the mum.

CHEATED Tanya Branning will shock East-Enders fans by burying ALIVE hubby Max.

The mum of three, played by actress Jo Joyner, takes revenge — in an stunning storyline — for the love-rat bedding his daughter-in-law.

Weeks of scheming will culminate in Tanya seducing Max and then drugging him — before placing him in a coffin and burying it in woods.

Bosses of the BBC soap are certain to come under fire for showing the scenes, which will go out at Easter, before the 9pm watershed.

The moment Max (Jake Wood) had his affair with Stacey (Lacey Turner) uncovered attracted 14 million viewers on Christmas Day — the highest ratings of 2007.

A BBC source added: “Viewers will have to wait to find out whether Max lives or dies.”

The couple’s relationship will nosedive as they battle over custody of their children.

Jo, 29, said: “Tanya is worried Max could take the kids.

“He’s capable of being nasty to get what he wants. He disgusts Tanya, she doesn’t want him back — and feels he is out to hurt her because of that.”

Max is appalled when Tanya’s drug-addict sister Rainey moves in with his family — and he reports his wife to social services.

He claims the kids — Abi, Lauren and baby Oscar — are at risk from dirty needles.

Meanwhile, Stacey tries to rebuild her shattered marriage to Max’s son Bradley (Charlie Clements).

:o :o

FAR FETCHED! -_-

i read that in todays sun but i cant do spoliers properly, could be far fetched i agree but it really depends on how it is written

There's pictures in The Sun today, and Sean wacks Max over the head whilst Tanya is distracting him!

Maybe this could be part of Sean leaving?
Im glad they have got Sean involved in it LOL. I dont see how Tanya could have done it on her own :P
You know me and my jokes (I did think people on buzzjack had a sense of humour - but I'll remember to show more reverence the next time I visit the EE thread.)

Afriad not Ms Snockers, if what you were saying was actually in any way amusing I would be the first one laughing, but I am afriad it just came accross (to me anyway) as quite a desperate attempt of seeking attention by just slagging EE off for the sake of it when you have said youself you do not like the programme. Surely there are better things to do than waste your time watching (whether it be 5 or 10 minutes) and slagging off a show you so clearly dislike so much.

As for this new storyline. I'll reserve my judgment till I see it. Looking forward to Deano's return tonight, apperently he is a changed man and

headbutts Sean

which will be hilarous.

Deano was well annoying tonight
