I think whoever said it would go 1-9 was being over optimistic, more like 1-35! I admit that this text download gambit is ingenious, but I don't think it can compete with the marketing might of Leona and a performance on X-Factor. I think TT's record will easily sell far more over time as well, even if it doesn't reach as high a peak.

They could do whatever they want but it wont help them anaway as Take That are so heading to number one with the amazing song 'Rule The World' :wub:

It's no different to allowing remixes and 'alternate' versions to chart. With Every Heartbeat and Beautiful Liar are the only two number ones from this year that I like (and Sugababes likely to be the third), all three will have been helped get there by having a remix/remixes of the song out. If it's allowed they may as well do it. Lighten up :rolleyes:

Transylvania charted on downloads only for about amonth before official release

and all they did that week was 1 txt download and 3 singigs and wen't in at 1

all leonas got to do is single on xfactor and all simon needs to say is the single is out monday or txt so and so and she will be on her way to number 1

You obviously have VERY bad taste in music, my dear.

Take That will do a big promo too and the single being a movie soundtrack definitely has some BIG advantages over Leona and Mcfly. Leona's single is bland and a one-off Xfactor perfomance will hardly help her outsell TT who have the biggest fan base out of these 3 and definitely the strongest song.

 

All they need is a good promo and number one is so theirs!
