September 29, 200717 yr I bet they are putting comments on hold and theyre trying to figure out if this tune can be in youtube legally or not! :(
September 29, 200717 yr If I'd not known Rob was singing I'd never say it was him, his voice sounds completely different ... in a good way LOL Ive been listening all night and i think the reason he sounds a bit different is because he adapted the droning quality of the song...the blending in...not sure how to explain it but he usually doesnt sing like that but its how the song is...you know?? :) Edited September 29, 200717 yr by Supreme
September 29, 200717 yr If it becomes a big hit for him...maybe there will be a video!!!! :w00t: :w00t:

September 29, 200717 yr Author Great to hear it being played in HMV. I imagine it would sound brilliant up loud in a record shop :D It is such an addictive song, and ROb's version is just bloody fantastic. The more you listen the better it gets

The more you listen the better it gets  Who was on the show yesterday with Chris Moyles...I have only listened now ...whoever it was liked it............ I personally think its the best cover that he has done in a long time & I think its a good idea that it is on his Official site for a week.....will succeed in bringing it to a much wider audience who would not have had the opportunity to hear it otherewise & hopefully gives us a flavour of things to come...if his next album does NOT contain some rocky edgy songs I am hanging up my Robbi boots.....................it's like suffering from withdrawal symptoms.....         Guy made a great job of the production......sounded just great & has a totally ' LUSH' quality about it.....

Must have something to do with it being LTAL's 10 Anniversary

I'm loving it now that I've heard it over a dozen times  I've been wondering ...... as its a compilation album of covers, can singles be officially released ??
September 29, 200717 yr Author I don't think so, but it could make it into the charts on downloads alone. Hopefully it will :D And I just checked. I've played Lola 42 times  I just played the original and dare I say, I was suprised at how boring it sounds compared to Rob's and I rarely say that about covers, especially of songs I already loved to begin with
September 30, 200717 yr yep it is real boring compared with robbies lol one of those songs you might hit the skip button for lol not robbies tho lol  yep its been a great week for the robster!! :w00t: :w00t:
September 30, 200717 yr I love it when he goes " wuh owwwww' in the song!!  All of my american friends who've downloaded it really love it too!! One of them said they use it to work out in the morning lol One of them told me the other day that in her town in the state of New York, while she was in a shop trying on dresses for a wedding shes going to..she said Robbie came on the radio playing over the speakers lol and she thought to herself shed have to remember to tell Nor (me) But I wanted to know what song...but she just couldnt remember what it sounded like cuz she was frustrated at the time with trying on dresses...but she knows his voice now from me pushin' robbie over there all the time! So i gave her a link of 'lovelight' in YT and asked her if that might be it...and she said it could be it since it was definately an upbeat song! She knows rock dj so it wasnt that. So im not sure what they would have played there...could it be rudebox could it be lovelight?? I guess we'll never know now...but i was surprised to hear that theyre playing rob in NY!!  Edited October 1, 200717 yr by Supreme
