October 3, 200717 yr Who'll probably get kicked out anyway for their fan who ran on the pitch and hit Dida...
October 3, 200717 yr Author Liverpool played terrible tonight. Well played to Marseille, who played well and deservingly took the 3 points.
October 3, 200717 yr Who'll probably get kicked out anyway for their fan who ran on the pitch and hit Dida... Well done to Celtic, who will no doubt forfeit the match, at the very least. But hey aren't Scottish football supporters supposed to be the best in Europe, whilst us English supporters are supposedly worse than scum & the worst on the planet........ .... I've got my thinking cap on, but I can't remember an English Football team in such a high profile match having a supporter do anything as shocking as this tonight. Still I'm hacked off with Liverpool losing against Marseille at home. Let's hope the next time Liverpool play, they don't wait to the 89th minute to start to take the game seriously..... :arrr:
October 3, 200717 yr Well i don't know what happened really but the guy on sky sports news said a fan touched Dida (nowhere near his head) and he went down clutching his face. :manson: Quite alot of Valencia players where doing that aswell tongiht..

On BBCs website it said that no fan should ever do that but no player should ever feign injury like Dida did. A Denmark fan did that before and they lost points so Celtic should get atleast the same, really...

I've seen the incident on Sky Sports just now. The fan did nothing more than the old pub/playground trick of tap the goalie on one shoulder whilst running in the other direction. Whilst Dida went down as if he had been hit by a punch from Mike Tyson. However, Celtic are entirely cupalble for this fan running onto the pitch and what if he had been carrying a knife (thinking back to when Tennis player Monica Seles was stabbed by a member of the crowd, effectively ending her professional career). The bottom line is that UEFA should act and Celtic should have to forfeit the victory.

The goalie started to chase the fan but after he realised he couldn't catch him he decided to feign an injury, with the game almost lost he probably took the view to try and get the match stopped or replayed, or points awarded to Milan. The incident although totally wrong, has been played up by Dida, he has a history of going down easily. Celtic could be told to play their next game behind closed doors. But Dida has cheated and Uefa are supposed to be clamping down on cheating. That was no Glasgow kiss I can assure you  It will be interesting to see what is decided.
October 4, 200717 yr If Celtic are penalised then Dida should also be banned for at least 6 months. I've never seen the like since Roberto Rojas. For more info on Rojas... http://observer.guardian.co.uk/osm/story/0,,1072648,00.html You cannot excuse the fan, he should never have been on the pitch, but the incident was completely soured by yet another South American keeper's crazy imagination.
October 5, 200717 yr Sorry 3 -0 :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: 3-2!!! :D, went to Croatia a few weeks ago!!, amazing country!!!!. You get bluddy good films on HRT 1 and 2, "Twelve Monkeys" for starters is a brilliant film. Dida deserves to be punished, Milan deducted points, the results stands. Celtic will be just fined cos of this UEFA rule regarding control over spectators. (http://www.uefa.com) Edited October 5, 200717 yr by Marcus
October 5, 200717 yr Nah, I don't think Milan should be deducted points! The club shouldn't be punished for their t*** of a goalkeeper. Good win last night for my native Aberdeen. Be good to see them in the group section now.
