May 7, 200619 yr Author There is always Football Manager  As much as I like that game, i'll always have an urge to play on it, but I get so bored of it after a while and it runs so slow on my PC, so I don't bother with it anymore.

May 7, 200619 yr I'm a bit pissed off with it right now <_< I'm 10th in the Premiership with Walsall (after finishing 6th last season) and my team are disappointed with the apparent 'poor league position'. :(

May 7, 200619 yr Tottenham are really gonna struggle picking up the 3 points away from home at West Ham
May 7, 200619 yr Author I think Spurs will beat West Ham as well, seen as West Ham will surely be resting their best players for the cup final.
May 7, 200619 yr I think Spurs will beat West Ham as well, seen as West Ham will surely be resting their best players for the cup final. I don't think there will be a win, lose or draw :o ITV FOOTBALL: Spurs v Hammers game doubtful Tottenham's crucial final Barclays Premiership match of the season at West Ham is in doubt, with several Spurs players suffering from food poisoning. Premier League spokesman Dan Johnson reported officials are on their way to Tottenham's team hotel to assess the situation. Spurs need to win this afternoon's match to be sure of fourth place in the Premiership and the Champions League qualification which would accompany that achievement - providing Arsenal do not then win the Paris final against Barcelona on May 17. "As things stand, the game is still going ahead," said Johnson. "But a number of players have been struck down by food poisoning. It appears to have hit them in the early hours of the morning." Tottenham go into the last round of matches favourites to finish above Arsenal, who must fare better at home to Wigan than Spurs do at Upton Park. The Gunners are one point behind their north London rivals but have a far superior goal difference. Should Spurs hang on to fourth place, they could still be denied their Champions League involvement if Arsenal were to beat Barcelona in this month's final and therefore qualify automatically to defend their title. A further update is expected at 1pm.
May 7, 200619 yr I really hope it isn't called off. Hopefully it goes ahead and the ones with food poising are Robinson, Carrick and Dawson. Edited May 7, 200619 yr by Alias
May 7, 200619 yr The match is ON. The FA have turned down a request by Tottenham Hotspur to have the match postponed.
May 7, 200619 yr They're going to use it as an excuse if they don't get the champions league place now
