Looking at the interview with Geri Halliwell on GMTV yesterday, she said there would be 15 songs on the Greatest Hits album. So that must mean the 12 old singles + "Headlines" + two others.

 

When they said two new songs, maybe they're not counting Woman as a new song. Fingers crossed there'll be another brand new recording on there as well!

Or they might put "Never Give Up On The Good Times" or "Move Over" on there, as they're quite well known too.

That's the four Spice Girls performing it live in 1999. It was meant to be included on "Forever" but never saw the light of day as it didn't really fit in with the style of the album.

 

It was rumoured that a new version with Geri was to be released as a single this year, but like every other rumour, it wasn't true.

Well apparently Bono is going to write a song for them :o

That's also not true. The entire purpose of Geri going on GMTV was to announce the single! Mel C announced it on Radio 1 at the same time.

well just as well someone announced it :lol: less than 6 weeks to go and all we had were the W.O.M.A.N. rumours, and no idea at all.

 

And if that were true why would Melanie C be on Radio 1 :lol:

Well I'm gonna guess it'll be a download-only number one since it will be out on the Greatest Hits album on the 12th.

in that case probably 30-40k on downloads, then maybe just short of 100k with physicals. I don't expect anything spectacular, except a 10th #1 :cheer:
