Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham are at war over plans for the Spice Girls reunion tour, according to a report.

 

Earlier this week, Halliwell suggested that the girls should perform some of their solo hits at the forthcoming concerts, but Posh is determined to veto the idea.

 

Victoria has been backed by Mel B, but Geri is receiving support from Mel C and Emma Bunton, who are keen to take part in a solo section.

 

An insider told the Sunday Mirror: "Geri is pushing to sing her stuff and she's arguing they have two hours to fill and fans want to hear the solo hits.

 

"Victoria is adamant she'll not do it and is digging her heels in. She says that, when she signed up, one stipulation was that she will not sing solo. The others are split

Don't even know if i believe this anyway but if it is true i can believe that Victoria wouldnt want to do it as the always perform live on tour and i don't think shes really that good at live solo songs. haha

Victoria sang live on Parkinson, and she sounded good - I don't see why she'd be so against it. She has solo parts in the SG songs anyway, and she is a better singer than Geri anyhow. :P

agin if its true and it probably isnt i would like some solo stuff even if they did 1 song each at the least

they could be the support acts :lol:

 

each get a little slot before the show to do 3/4 songs, before the big event kicks off. Yes it's a dream but I'm allowed to :P

Melanie C at least could be the support - after all she does still have a current album to promote! :)

plus she has the most solo material and th ebiggest selling solo spice album

They should compromise and do a medley maybe of solo songs?

 

They have tons of songs to fill the two hours and it would be a waste of at least 20 minutes if they all did a solo number each.

solo represents them all since the spice girls though and the reason they are still here

Actually I doubt that's true. Read the whole article and you'll see it says that Victoria is "also angry at Geri for leaking details of their forthcoming single," but that can't be true as she was always intended to reveal details about "Headlines" as was Melanie C.

 

Take it with a pinch of salt. Any stories that have not come from the Spice Girls themselves over the last few months have generally not been true. Even the rumour they were getting back together this time was started by Mel C herself.

I doubt this has actually come from the girls themselves. The Mirror likes to make up complete works of fiction about these things.

I paid enough and so I want them to do solos aswell

 

Mel B might be a problem - but Victoria should be excited - LET YOUR HEAD GO - was amazing!

Fook solo songs, I'm not interested to hear any of their solo stuff to be honest.

i agree some of the solo stuff isnt great but there are many many decent solo songs belong to them also,and id love solo spices to be the support acts
