In its second week the chart has taken a full u-turn by converting to mostly dance music and techno-garage.

Commentary
In its second week, the chart has... 5 New Entries, 2 non-movers, 2 songs move up the chart and 1 moves down.
So, at the “business end of the chart, For a second week in a row, “Peter Bjorn and John” are fighting for top spot, but this time with the Arctic Monkeys with their third single from “Favourite Worst Nightmare”, “Teddy Picker” Also contesting for top spot is Oasis latest effort “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down” that will be accompanied by a DVD box-set. The Wombats hold onto their top 5 position by the skin of their teeth! Also new entries this week are “Velvet Revolver“, (basically Slash from Guns N Roses new(ish) band) with “She Builds Quick Machines“, i‘ll give you a link and you can see what you think. Also joining them in the top 10 are Joy Division with their song “Transmission” I’d recommend a listen as they could well have started the “indie” trend. The Enemy make a rare appearance with the album track “Pressure” which is much better than the singles they are released in my opinion, the new Cribs Song (double a-side I believe) and Stereophonics.
But WHO will make it to number one? Will “Young Folks” make it to number one for the second week? Or will Alex Turner and co grasp top spot from them, or will Noel Gallagher snatch victory from the jaws of defeat? There is only one way to find out...
