It would depend really on what songs you like. Light Years, Fever, Rhythm of Love, and Impossible Princess are my favourites. You could just buy Ultimate Kylie though and get most of the hits, or your in Aussie so you could get the greatest hits 87-97 which has impossible princess hits on it too.

You would need to tell us your favourite songs and then we can advise you on which album

i agree it depends on which kylie singles you really like so let us know but personnelly i would highly recommend light years fever, and rhythm of love followed by impossible princess, all the kylie albums are great in there own way personally again body language and kylie minogue 94 would be the last 2 i would recommend from all her studio albums

ok thanks guys! impossible princess seems cool!

singles i like:

in your eyes, i believe in you, white diamond, confide in me, you did it again, chocolate  , red blooded woman, slow, take you home, spinning around, breathe !

Impossible Princess might be best then.... for a start....
I would have to recommend Fever, especially if you like Body Language. BL is a little more chilled-out but both follow the dance-pop genre and Fever is a classic, once-in-a-lifetime album. Go for Fever. ^_^
yes buy them all is prob the right thing to say but been honest i wouldnt recommend kylie minogue 1994 but to be fair without that album we may not have the kylie we had since 2000

I have Fever and only Fever, and it's full of potential singles. Get that! :D

That said, I haven't listened to it in years, but still - my point stands!

Probably the killer singles? Tbh I rate Body Language just as highly these days. B)

Depends, Shaun if you like disco Kylie or not? If so, get Fever, if not, get Kylie Minogue or Impossible Princess. If you're unsure, compromise and get Light Years! :P

what made you buy the fever album and not the othes???

OK, prepare for life story...

In 2003 we drove 14 hours to the French alps and my dad (who is a Kylie fan) played the Fever album over and over and over and over and over again, literally we were eating and sleeping Kylie by the time we got there. The same happened on the way back, and the songs became so synonymous with the trip I decided to get the album. I still think of that holiday now when I listen to a song from it.

I've never been a Kylie fan really, so it has remained my one and only album by her. I like all of her Parlophone singles though, but I don't think I'd ever buy another original album.

I always like hearing that straight males do like Kylie ^_^ FTF, myself, your dad, my hairdressers' husband  People have become convinced only gay people are allowed to enjoy her music. -_-

Yeah, my dad does have an odd taste in music for a straight man... he likes all the music by the women he fancies... so JLo and Liberty X and S Club etc. he listens/listened to as well :D

Ahh, that's cool, my friends' dad is just like that :D And my dad listens to a US radio station called 'Women of the 90s'.

Yes i must admit i am glad to know of other straight people here who like kylie as many think if you like kylie you must be gay which is so silly i think but people think what they think

^ I HATE IT SOO MUCH TOO. :(

Anyway i think:

Must Have's:

Light Years

Ultimate Kylie

Fever

If you like those invest in:

Impossible Princess

Body Language

Not many people are keen on "Body Language" but i have really grown to love it recently

ya thats a fairly common assumption which again i dont agree with, and prob something i dont understand as with me musis and sexuality dont link for me at all
