I also read this, he doesn't live too far from me either. 59 to me still seems like no age, could have had what another 20 years, its terrible.

CORRIE greasemonkey Kevin Webster will be servicing more than just cars this summer — when he starts a love affair with business partner Tyrone Dobbs’ wife Molly.

The wrinkly mechanic, 43, played by Michael Le Vell, gets the hots for Molly during late night sessions cooking the books for the garage.

They will start an affair despite their 20-year age gap, duping nice-but-dim Tyrone — actor Alan Halsall.

And producers are even considering having Molly, 23, get PREGNANT — leading to a battle over paternity.

The fling is set to send shockwaves through the Street. Lovebirds Tyrone, 26, and Molly (Vicky Binns) got hitched just last month on the ITV1 soap.

A top insider told TV Biz: “Molly and Tyrone looked all set to be the Street’s new Jack and Vera. Everyone thought they were for keeps.

“Their relationship has had its ups and downs but until now they have been totally devoted to each other.”

The source added: “Molly and Kevin’s affair will be compulsive viewing and will certainly get people talking. It’s a real shocker.

“One of the future possibilities being discussed for Molly is to have her falling pregnant but not knowing whether Kevin or Tyrone is the father.

“It’ll most likely end with a DNA test and a bitter custody battle. The storyline will run for ages and have viewers on the edge of their seats for months and months.”

And if Kevin’s wife Sally — played by Sally Whittaker — discovers his affair with Molly, it will spell more relationship trouble.

The Websters have teenage daughters Rosie and Sophie and married for the second time in 2001.

Sally had finally forgiven him for an affair with former business partner Natalie Horrocks — actress Denise Welsh — which led to their divorce 12 years ago.

And if Sally discovers what’s really going on, they could be headed back to the divorce courts.

Molly and Tyrone’s fairytale wedding on January 12 was paid for by a string of dodgy deals.

And the groom almost missed the church ceremony when the last money-spinning scam he had set up went wrong just minutes before he was due at the altar

 sounds really pointless & silly to me, why does every soap couple have to have an affair.

they shouldnt have kevin having an affir or sally for that matter as its been done so many times with them,,they should have focused on them as a family and how they deal with their daughters

She's brilliant! She was in the short-lived (but best ever British police show) The Cops.

Jason Grimshaw has a drunken romp with his AUNT in Corrie’s most bizarre love plot ever.

Jason (Ryan Thomas) is gutted when fiancée Becky Granger (Katherine Kelly) dumps him for Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).

He is comforted by older factory supervisor Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh) — also down in the dumps after splitting with dopey Kirk Sutherland.

But all hell breaks loose when the unlikely couple find out they are related. A show insider says: “They are both horrified when they finally discover the truth.”

What a ridiculous set of storylines. I care not for any of the storylines around at the moment, nor do I care for any of these upcoming storylines. Completely unneccessary affairs that will be neither entertaining or gripping in any way.

The Windass thing is dull as dishwater, the whole family are completely passable, Joe is boring as could be and they've even mellowed David down into looking like some cowering youth. Awful.

Don't even get me started on the new business partner in the factory. "Mr Strong" =/ He's only been in for a grand total of just over 30 minutes and already it's glaringly obvious he's Liam Connor mk II. Yes Liam was one of the big onscreen successes of the past few years but blatantly ripping him off down to the finest details will be more than see-through. Even by the ditziest of viewers. Arghh.

Tony Gordon however. Kudos to the guy he's carrying the programme single-handidly right now.

1) I really hope that Kevin doesnt have an affair with Molly, I think Molly and Tyrone should be one of the long running couples like Jack & Vera

2) That is stupid, I'm not being funny, but that Jason with Julie thing seems very unrealistic and pushing for a storyline.

Well that one passed me right by! I thought he was one of TV's prime 'Mr Boring's. He even made Ken Barlow look interesting. I don't see why Tony Gordon should be punished for getting rid of him and that whining Manc voice! Which is why I want Mr Gordon to get off 'Scot' free!

Corrie is struggling at the moment and will prob struggle even further with the recent bereavements as many storylines have to be re done,,its prob very hard for them as so many cast members are on leave, this happened to eastenders a few years back and so many storylines hadto be changed and re written at the last minute and the show suffered and that definitly seems to be happening to corrie lately so those on corrie probably have a few toughweeks ahead.

The kevin and molly storyline is wrong and it doesnt fit,it has the shound of desperation for a storyline they are simply thinking of we need an affair and i agree molly and tyrone should be left out of the affair mode on i think the best storyline for them would be the ups and downs of married life etc

Definitely agree with that! Although I have noticed that they have started to make Kevin a bit more interesting lately ... and he's come out with some corkers - they don't have to turn him into some ageing lothario to do it.

I've noticed that too, before he was a bit bland and didn't really add much. I loved the "I'm gonna follow Jesus" and Kevin replies "Why? Wheres he going?"

kevin and sally have far more to offer as a couple and i think the are probably the best couple on corrie and i love how the websters are now all about how the parents deal with the kids i think they should continue that,an affair is so unessary
