September 14, 201212 yr Easily Kylie, down to earth lady, has had a great career and delivers fantastic Live tours.
September 14, 201212 yr Has any popstar in history ever spent so long trading on past glories as Britney? Her fans seem to be living in a time warp. Tragic.

September 14, 201212 yr Kylie has Condfide in Me but she has more rubbish stuff than Britney. They're both about 5/10. It's a tough decision but I went for Kylie because she doesn't appear to be as dim as Britney.

September 14, 201212 yr Kylie has produced absolutely classic singles which still sound good today, Britney has produced some great singles as well but some of them sound so dated now. Also Kylie has brilliant albums, whereas Britney is far more of a singles act as her albums are normally piss weak *coughCircuscough*, not even to mention the huge difference in being down to earth and live performance skills.
September 15, 201212 yr Kylie for me, I do like Britney as well, but I find Kylie to be more enjoyable in general.

But the problem with Britney was she was so down to earth and bubbly (I think she still is), however her breakdown really tore her trust apart, and she really doesn't trust anyone anymore, especially the media. So in interviews, she comes across as awkward because she has to deal with people who basically broke her. On a side night, I do love Kylie's music. I'm still waiting for Britney to have her "Confide In Me" moment :)
September 15, 201212 yr I see I already voted 4 years ago. Obviously I'm still of the same opinion, it's almost an insulting comparison for Kylie IMO. I have to admit, Britney's last era singleswise was fantastic and probably her best, but she's so unbelievably talentless and vacuous. The good songs she's given are absolutely nothing to do with her, she doesn't even inject personality into them.

The good songs she's given are absolutely nothing to do with her, she doesn't even inject personality into them. I don't even understand how that comment even works. I mean, you can call her lazy and criticise her over use of layered vocals, but talentless and vacuous? I mean I don't even know where to begin...
September 15, 201212 yr What's her talent? She can't dance anymore. Average singer at best... Completely agree, although I think even 'average singer' is a bit generous. The thing that Britney is great for is that she released catchy pop singles, and some of them really are brilliant, but that's the work of the people around her, not herself.
September 15, 201212 yr At their peaks, Britney. In terms of the overall package, Kylie has been far more consistent.
September 15, 201212 yr What's her talent? She can't dance anymore. Average singer at best... I think it's a real unfair comment to suggest she's untalented, she's a fantastic song-writer, she has a fantastic use of manipulation of her voice that very few singers can do, I mean her voice is superior to nasal Kylie's. I think the video on Ellen proves she can still dance, she manages to pick up a routine in less than 5 seconds. And if you ever bother to watch her dancing, you'll notice she knows the routines very well, but is just incredibly lazy with them. Like I said beforehand, you can call her lazy, but someone without talent? That makes no sense. Someone with no talent wouldn't held two of the greatest pop songs of the last 15 years, which she came up with both video concepts, and for "Toxic" jigged it around different producers to tweak it to her liking. I mean realistically, she's a mum now, she shouldn't still be performing tracks like "Slave 4 U", but sadly her breakdown caused her management team to gain a lot more control over her, she isn't as free as she used to be, for example, the original Britney concept of "Femme Fatale" was a ballad album, which got refused by her label, so I'm not surprised Britney doesn't make much effort with her music, she probably doesn't really like it, and before anyone states "then why does she do it?", she's under contract, you try breaching a contract.
September 15, 201212 yr Mmmm I voted for Britney in this purely because through the years for me she has made many more songs and videos that I have liked. But let's be honest both are successful more because of their image than any big talent that they have. Frankly the Kylie fans making her into some kind of ultra talented superstar is laughable. People care more about her backside than her singing, which is completely average. And before anyone starts I don't think Britney can sing either. My point is they are both very similar talent wise for me.
September 15, 201212 yr Britney. I can never fall out of love with her, because of her immortal back catalogue. The Circus and Blackout eras >>>>>>> anything Kylie has ever done imo.
