September 15, 201212 yr Mmmm I voted for Britney in this purely because through the years for me she has made many more songs and videos that I have liked. But let's be honest both are successful more because of their image than any big talent that they have. Frankly the Kylie fans making her into some kind of ultra talented superstar is laughable. People care more about her backside than her singing, which is completely average. And before anyone starts I don't think Britney can sing either. My point is they are both very similar talent wise for me. I think someone needs to go listen to her orchestral material :smoke:
September 15, 201212 yr I really don't even see particularly why the two have to be compared but.... Personally I've never got the fascination with Kylie and she has 3 or 4 good albums at best. She isn't a horrible vocalist and she can dance but she's just lacking imo, whereas Britney is the perfect popstar - she might not have the best voice but she always has consistently amazing material.

When there are popstars who can sing live, dance, own a stage, do acrobatics and god knows what else, how on earth can Britney be the 'perfect' popstar? She doesn't even have the charisma which used to make her so appealing (pre-05). She gets some good songs and that's it.

September 15, 201212 yr Britney can sing yes but her voice is very normal everyday to day singing and she's way past her prime for dancing. I wouldn't say she can dance well nowadays anymore either as she just refuse to move her ass. Kylie on the other hand has a unique voice. I fail to see why it has to turn into hating on each other's personal preference when you don't agree. It's fun at times, but it's non-stop. September 17, 201212 yr Kylie has managed to build up quiet a few memorable hits that do get played to this very day. Britney has managed the same but not in as many numbers. My opinion is Britney is a controlled computer generic popstar that more often than not shows no class what so ever. However, my main dislike for Britney is i feel she doesnt respect her own fans all that much and she mimes embarrassingly too much in her concerts and live appearances. While Kylie is not the best female vocal she does have a reasonable voice and puts on a great live performance for her fans. Additionally, Kylie has held on to her fan base for her entire career where i feel Britney has not, maybe that is a greater point to Britney as she has the ability to appeal to the youth of day where Kylie doesnt hold that as much as she was once able to. While Kylie is my preferred choice, there is no doubting Britneys career and she has done amazingly well for herself, both in my own opinion are 2 completely different artists and can be hard to compare, but then i would also say i dont know why any artist does always have to paired with another for comparison as no 2 people are ever the same, famous or not.
