Posted October 17, 200717 yr Ok folks, the hardwork continues and Scotland will have a tough match in Georgia and need to win once again to help there qualifing cause. If Scotland win and the French slip up against Lithuania then the Scots will qualify tonight. However Scotlands next match which is the home match against Italy still looks set to be the match that will decide who will qualify for euro 2008. Current table 1 Scotland 10 8 0 2 20 8 12 24 2 Italy 10 7 2 1 17 7 10 23 3 France 10 7 1 2 21 3 18 22 Remaining games Scotland Georgia (A) Italy (H) Italy Scotland (A) Faroe Islands (H) France Lithuania (h) Ukraine (a) So Italy have what would be considered the easyist games of the 3 countrys who can still qualify. France really need 6points to have any chance of qualifying, should they finish on equal points with scotland, they won't qualify due to two 1-0 losses to the scotts during the qualifying campaign.

October 17, 200717 yr what I was going to say until I was rudely interrupted by a team with a girls name was They should wear the blue shirt with pride whenever they can! At least they know what it means to play for their country!

October 17, 200717 yr I think the fat lady has sang  Here's a pic of Randy Crawford: http://www.kalamu.com/bol/wp-content/content/images/randy%20crawford%2003.jpg I'm seriously peeded of as I was hopeful of both England & Scotland playing in Austria & Switzerland next summer. But it now looks like neither will be there. :(
October 17, 200717 yr :(:(:(:(:( :nocheer::nocheer::nocheer::nocheer::nocheer: At Scotland. But :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo: :dance::dance::dance::dance: :cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer: To England not being at Euro 2008 (barring miracles).
October 17, 200717 yr Author Only scotland can grab defeat from the jaws of victory like they have done tonight.
October 18, 200717 yr The problem is Scotland only play well when they're underdogs, it's true. It bodes well historically for Italy's visit to Hampden. Now a draw was always a plausible result, especially since Italy had to win (similar situation to Ukraine who came a cropper when leaving themselves xposed) but now it's changed somewhat I think Scotland are doomed to third place. That's if we don't draw and Ukraine don't beat or draw with France!
October 18, 200717 yr Time to revive the Home Nations Championships in the summer of 2008, me thinks/fears? :(
