Posted October 18, 200717 yr Here are the nominees for "Record of the Year", along with video clips so that you can listen and judge the tracks side by side. Once you've gone through the list, I'm betting that one will stand out in your mind. So why not take the poll and vote for your favorite? It will give you a chance to see how many people agree and then, on Nov. 8th, we'll all hear what the Latin Recording Academy thinks. 1. "Bello Embustero" (Beautiful Liar) - Beyonce & Shakira N3tnHVwzxzo It's difficult to think of a more popular and dynamic duo than Beyonce & Shakira. While there's no denying that the divas are a feast for the eyes, the Latin Recording Academy must decide if this track is the best feast for the ears. 2. "Nena" - Miguel Bose with Paulina Rubio IxDh3h6dzkk With the help of Paulina Rubio, "Nena" is the stand-out track from Miguel Bose' Papito - but does it stand-out enough to grab the prize? 3. "La Excepcion" - Gustavo Cerati bCJhuBsm2iw& "La Excepcion" from Ah! Vamos is a strong contender, but I'm not sure why it's on this list. Ah! Vamos won "Best Rock Solo Album" last year. Isn't there a rule? 4. "La Llave De Mi Corazon" - Juan Luis Guerrra 440 rcP6pJDZkBE Not only is Juan Luis Guerra the Academy's "Person of the Year", but I'm betting his La Llave De Mi Corazon album is going to see Guerra taking the stage - a lot. 5. "Tu Recuerdo" - Ricky Martin 1tv9Z8N_s28 Ricky Martin received his star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame today, but will "Tu Recuerdo", from his MTV Unplugged album, earn him a star at the Latin Grammys? October 18, 200717 yr I think it'll be Ricky Martin... that song's been huge on Latin radios through the whole 2007.
October 21, 200717 yr I've not heard any of these songs except that BL mess. Which I hope shall not win. I voted for Ricky. :(
November 4, 200717 yr hopefully shakira and beyonce they deserve it, even tho the song wasnt as big as expected.
November 4, 200717 yr I've listened to them all :kink: I like La Excepcion (what does that mean in English?)
November 4, 200717 yr Shakira isn't even singing in that spanish version of the song... it's all beyonce.
November 4, 200717 yr I personally think it's between Miguel Bose with Paulina Rubio or Gustavo Cerati, but my favourite would be the former.
November 4, 200717 yr Author I've listened to them all :kink: I like La Excepcion (what does that mean in English?)
