EXCLUSIVE - Here are the latest news about Madonna's upcoming album that Drowned Madonna has heard.

 

Madonna has not finished with the final product yet. She's been back in the studio over the last few days mixing some of the last tracks.

 

As for now, Madonna plans on doing a photoshoot for the album after the Holidays.

 

Finally, the tentative release date is Spring 2008, probably April, Madonna's entourage told Drowned Madonna.

 

As usual, we'll keep you updated on possible changes.

RECAP AND SPECIFICATIONS

 

Let's recap the latest exclusive news Drowned Madonna brought to you on November 5, adding some specifications.

 

Madonna has been back in the studio over the last few days mixing some of the last tracks. This obviously happened when Madonna was in Los Angeles. As our friend Darren Hayes reported on his personal myspace blog on November 9, Mark 'Spike' Stent is currently mixing the new Madonna album. We know that Madonna has actually met 'Spike' in the studio. Just to set the record straight, Madonna is in the final mixing stage!

 

Even if the photoshot for the new album has been brought forward to December 12, as we exclusively reported yesterday, we have been told that the tentative release date for the new album is still April 2008, as we previously revealed... precisely late April in the US.

MadonnaTribe has just heard an exclusive report from the recent session in Los Angeles which is likely to bring yet another collaborator to the new Madonna album.

 

While Madonna was putting the finishing touches to her new album at RecordPlant studios in L.A. last week, Kanye West was recording his own stuff in the next room.

Kanye was actually working on the new Michael Jackson album - and it may be just a fortunate coincidence that brought him to temporarely switch from the King to the Queen of Pop.

 

Pharrell - who was working with Madonna next door - invited Kanye in to meet her, the two hooked up and Madonna came up with an idea for Kanye to rap on one of her songs on the spot!

Here you go: add Kanye to the list!

Drowned Madonna has been informed that Madonna will film her appearance for the upcoming Annie Lennox's new video "Sing" within the next 2 weeks.

 

She is thinking, JUST THINKING, of going brown for the video.

 

Also the new album could be launched using a brunette look a-la-Frozen but with a much more in your face sense of fashion.

 

Word is that the new Madonna's look for next year could be more punk than rap.

Up till now a collaborated first single with not only Madonna was taken under considerations (perhaps a Timbaland/JT collaborated track), now however there's a new fierce candidate! A crazy dark dance track produced by DANJA features solo M singing partly with vocoder and strong stylish beat. A mega hit production. With only a small spoken part by Danja. Some say her vision on this record is going to take pop to a whole other level. Definitely exciting!

There are five final songs that are produced by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland and that had their final mixing at "Hit Studios Miami" last week.

From what we have been told there's a song called "4 minutes to save the world" and it's an upbeat and very catchy hip-hop Madonna/Justin Timberlake duet.

 

Another song is called "Across The Sky". It has lots of acoustic guitars, the flow is very much like "The Power Of Goodbye" and sounds like a real hit. Madonna is hiting really high notes there while Justin Timberlake is on back vocals.

 

The third song is titled "Dance Tonight", a funky mid-tempo tune, yet another Madonna/Justin duet, think "Rock Your Body" by Justin with the claps and everything, this apparently has the same structure as well.

 

"Even the devil wouldn't recongise you" is a fourth song. Amazing ballad, very "Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake in it's structure and Justin on back vocals on this one too.

 

The fifth song is named "Miles Away" and we have been told this is the THE BEST of the whole bunch. A hit written all over it.

Full of acoustic guitars, beautiful uptempo song ad Justin on back vocals again. The song structure may recall "Love Profusion", but it's much better.

 

From what we have been reported, there's no need to worry about Madonna's new album. It's going to be an incredible album that will mark the year of her 50th birthday in such a fantastic way.

i hate reading the news about it because i want it so bad :(

Omg i just read this on tribe a couple of minutes ago and almost wet myself!! Those titles sound so amazing and the fact that there are songs that reflect Power of Goodbye and Love Profusion just melts me, those two are 2 of my all time fave Madge classics! I just can't contain myself any longer, why oh why do we have to wait til friggin' April?!! :(

 

Not too sure about the use of Justin, he seems to appear on too many tracks! But i guess i should wait and see..i might just become a fan! lol

 

And the fact that this LP could take the sound of pop to another level also impresses me, oh Madge, release it already gurrl!!

I like Kanye, he's not bad! This could be an interesting mix of artists!

 

I just hope Mika isn't there, i can't stand him!!

I love Madonna with dark hair, she looks sexier and younger. Think back to the promo of American Life, didn't she just look the business?! We've seen too much of blond Madge lately, time for a new hair reinvention i reckon!

Personally, if the music is gonna be R and B, she needs to do some type of A-line cut but short in the back with alot of hair in the front. Something like this in blond or brown with blond highlights...more of a hip look to reflect the young fresh music.

I am sorry, I am sure I will love it, but I am not too happy about hearing about all of these Justin callabos and productions....I want just Madonna...I don't wanna hear his crooning all over it......but guess I will have to wait and hear how it sounds!!!! Excited about the Danja track...he put some good beats on Britney's Blackout album!! Listen to Get Naked (I Got A Plan) on Brit's album if you wanna get an idea of his sound!!
