'Hard Candy' has climbed back to #22 in midweeks.

I reckon this is down to the release of the vinyls and the fact that Give it 2 Me hit radios this week as well as the video on music television! :) Good good!

Even if Madonna isn't out there doing promotion, there's promotion doing itself. :P

'Hard Candy' has fallen 1 place to #23 in midweeks.

Give It 2 Me is so catchy.

I quite like it, it's not often she shares the spotlight on her songs. I was suprised 4 Minutes was credited to 'Madonna and Justin'. :D

Um, yeah. '4 Minutes' is credited as Madonna featuring Justin and Timbaland on iTunes and on the back CD covers, but on the front cover it's only Madonna and Justin.

yeah, well its only a tiny feature those artists have in most songs just little parts except for songs like beat goes on etc.

I don't think she will to be honest. She's got a huge tour to do which will take up loads of her time, and then she's leaving Warners anyway. I doubt she even cares to be honest. She's had worse chart runs :P

 

The UK is better though because singles actually do have an affect on albums so if she chooses the correct singles the album should hover in the top 40 for a while yet.

Total sales of 'Hard Candy' in the UK are 201,000.

i was expecting those sort of sales in the first 2 weeks and for it to be 2Xpltinum by now

Its terrible it really is but i'm gonna wait till Give it 2 Me's out and the tours' done before i can make a final conclusion. Hopefully, by December when all the above is done plusa 3rd single, the album will be 600k + I just want it to go double platinum!!!

just been having a look at Madonna Tribe and there are rumours of a HC re-release in France...

 

According to two French websites, virgin17.fr and

teemix.aufeminin.com, Hard Candy would be re-issued in France on july 14. They say it would include bonus tracks. It is still unknown whether it will be remixes or/and unreleased songs like 'Ring My bell' available only on the Hard Candy Japanese edition so far.

 

Madonna’s eleventh studio album debuted at #1 on French albums charts and has sold 141 540 copies to date.

 

We will keep you updated if French fans will indeed get a re-issue of the album.
