It seems as though the album is performing better in America for a change! Its spent longer in the top ten (4 weeks) than any of her last few albums have. #11 is still a good chart position. I'm sure it'll re-enter the top ten once Give it to Me starts doing its thing!!

 

As for the UK, its just beyond terrible! I'm so shocked and extremely disheartened! If only Madonna and Warners could see this decline and do something about it!! :(

Madonna needs to do more promoting, I'm sure that the release of 'Give It 2 Me' will boost the album in the UK a bit, and hopefully get it back into the Top 10.

Total sales of 'Hard Candy' are 177,000.

my mum is a major madonna fan and when i lent her my copy of HC she told me that she did not like it and how she has not made a major stand out album like confessions which she LOVED so thats a bit of a bummer. however she also disliked kylie's new album and she is a fan of her too so it must be her hearing.

Those are still terrible sales for Madonna. 'Confessions' sold more in it's first week!

That's what you get for releasing a pile of turd like 4 Minutes first. -_- It'll appeal to the kids who'll happily pay 80p for a download off iTunes but not to anyone who really buys albums.

I hope 'Give it 2 Me' can push the album as far as #5 Glyn! Though i reckon it might be high top 20 at most unless Madge gets her backside out there and promotes!

 

If the 3rd single is Miles Away with a pleasant vid then i'm certain H.C will rise n' sell!

I think 'Hard Candy' will get back up the charts when 'Give It 2 Me' comes out, because I've seen the video 2 times in 1 hour yesterday night!
