October 22, 200717 yr Congratulations to Ayaka for passing the million mark on the 着うた full. A nice way to celebrate the anniversary of the release. :) RSP's "Lifetime Respect -女編-" has not only sold in quantity but done it quickly too. Released in July, certified platinum in August and now double platinum in September. Nice to see EXILE doing well. Atsushi is a talented guy (where would the rest of them be without him?). Further down, BoA at 13 - not bad considering how modest the physical sales were. And SEAMO at 16 - people love his slower songs. I'm looking forward to the SEAMO / BoA collaboration which should be getting air time as of next week. Back to Ayaka - "Why" scores higher than "Clap & Love". I really didn't take to "Clap & Love", but "Why" has kept it's place on my playlist - I've grown to rather like it. Seems I'm not alone in prefering the 'b-side'. Much further down, at 69, Hitomi Shimatani finally makes her first appearance in the download chart with "Shinku". Well, it's a beginning. But really, revenue from her singles sales can barely cover her hairdressing bills these days ... Edited October 22, 200717 yr by Quaoar
October 23, 200717 yr Author I really like Ayaka as well, although I have to say I prefer 'Clap & Love' to 'Why' in terms of the songs, but it is vice versa for the video. I have heard the BoA/SEAMO collaboration, and I honestly expected more of it, not that it's bad of course. Oh, CDJ have announced a new BoA single for 12/12 as well, apparently it will be ''a fresh and edgy dance sound'' - I pray for another Dakishimeru and not a Sweet Impact
