Its no secret i hate mcfly and i really dont like using BJ to post stuff about htem because it just encourages them to make more c**p music, but i jusy happened to find this article and i thought i needed to share it, but i promise

McFly have defended their musical credentials after Louis Walsh said they just "jump around the stage with silly haircuts". (very accurate i think you'll agree!!)

 

Bassist Dougie Poynter responded to the music mogul's recent comments: "What he said really baited me.

 

"He was saying that we don't plug in and play but that's exactly what we've been doing since day one."

 

Bandmate Danny Jones added: "It's just childish. We've been playing since we were six and could go up against a lot of the bands these days and give them a run for their money." (just a shame that every other bands fans actually buy their records the week after they chart!!!!)

 

McFly were speaking at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards UK ceremony where they won best band (i dont really know whats the funniest part oof the article is...oh wait yeah i do!!).

 

Feel free to chat amongst yourselves, and i swear i will never post anymore mcfly associated stuff unless its really really good, like theyre splitting up and dissapearing into the black hole!!!! :cheer: :cheer:, oh and its from digitalspy btw!!!!

Erm, I think you'll fine EVERY band that has a 'core' fanbase songs plummet down the charts like a McFly record does.

Not as bad as McFly, they drop massively in their second weeks. They hold the record for the biggest drop from #1 if I recall correctly.

Well yes, but that's because of their stupid download thing. Otherwise it would've been a perfectly normal drop for any act releaseing a 3rd single off an album. MSP fell over 100 places last week! No one gives a $h!te about them, it's only because it's McFly.

Thats what I was thinking.

 

I'm not a massive McFly fan either, but some of the posts concering McFly are very childish and bitter.

Oh come on! I may not like them but I'm sure they actually do play guitar :lol:

To say that is just silly.

 

I wouldn't mind them so much if they didn't pull such $h!t stunts to get to #1. If they just released a record and let it chart off its own merit instead of begging fans to download on text or whatever they'd be a lot more credible. It just seems all they care about is topping the chart and exploiting their fans as much as possible instead of making music sometimes.

 

Then again that's the manufactured pop band for you. :magic:

some of there songs are good its just there sheer desperation and how every single MUST go to number 1..that i dont like -_-
