Posted October 22, 200717 yr Are there any artists that you hate to the core of your being, you think most of their output is schlock of the highest order yet there are still one or two tracks which you think are ace? This would be my ideal definition of Elton John. Most of his songs leave stone cold. Your Song? Crocodile Rock? Blue Eyes? Sacrifice? Nikita? :puke2: But for me two two tracks stand out. Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting is a great rocker and Tiny dancer just has a chorus to die for! So who would you choose?
October 23, 200717 yr good idea :) barry white... the foulest creature ever, hate his music... but 'sho' you right' (87) was pretty good :0 ill think of some more :)
October 24, 200717 yr U2 - Lemon and Unforgettable Fire The Jam - The Bitterest Pill and That's Entertainment
October 25, 200717 yr kagagoogoo....'big apple'.... :o They were much better as ‘Kaja’ with Nick Beggs as vocalist. As for the question, I do not think I have anything to put here as there are no artists that I hate, there may be a number of records that I am not keen on but I do not have to listen to them, I can skip the track. On the other hand if ‘Girls Aloud’ release a brilliant record, my loyalties might be tested, but as they are a pop band it is more likely that Cheryl Cole and the two ‘Kim Wilde’ types will release solo singles first, and so I will not have to decide.
October 25, 200717 yr Author Hmmm suppose it would have to be Money's Too Tight to Mention for me. Hate everything else by Simply Red.
October 26, 200717 yr Ive never been a big fan of depedge Mode but I like Enjoy The Silence and Just Cant Get Enough
October 28, 200717 yr I hate Westlife (with a passion), yet I love You Raise Me Up. I'm still trying to figure out why.
October 29, 200717 yr Author I would say Michael Jackson and if I was pressed against a wall with a gun to my head then I would say Billie Jean was ok.
October 29, 200717 yr I'll get massively jumped on for this but The Beatles. I have never understood why they of all acts reached the heights they did, but Let It Be was rather awesome.
October 30, 200717 yr Eh.. I'd have to say Vanity 6 (LOL) but I do love the beats to "Sex Shooter" the lyrics are sleazy and raunchy as heck but the music is so effective imo. Also Samantha Fox, I think she was a bit skanky but I do love "I surrender" that song is catchy as hell too. The lyrics are silly, but effective.
November 2, 200717 yr Soft Cell - Tainted Love it's the total opposite for me on that one... I love Soft Cell - but Tainted Love is their worst ever single for me.
November 10, 200717 yr it's the total opposite for me on that one... I love Soft Cell - but Tainted Love is their worst ever single for me. not keen on it either as the original northen soul record is much much better, and being someone who likes Brel and Engel i thonk there will be better tracks in his backcat.
