Posted October 23, 200717 yr http://i.rollingstone.com/assets/rs/10/3042/images/00151070_lg.jpg JUST when you thought reunion fever couldn’t get any hotter, I can reveal the BOYZONE lads met up with their old boss LOUIS WALSH on Friday to thrash out a new deal. TAKE THAT proved comebacks can be a big success, and fans of the SPICE GIRLS are ecstatic that Posh and Co are back together too. Meeting ... Louis Walsh Now Boyzone, who split in 2000, want a piece of the action. X Factor star Louis, who managed them first time round, met up with RONAN KEATING, STEPHEN GATELY, MIKEY GRAHAM, SHANE LYNCH and KEITH DUFFY at the Conrad Hotel in Chelsea. It’s the same place Take Thatmet with ROBBIE WILLIAMS last May for the first time in years and a favourite spot for WESTLIFE too. :) An onlooker said: “Ronan and the gang were all there laughing and having a great time.” Bigwigs from their record label Polydor also attended. Ronan sacked Louis as his solo manager in 2003 but they’ve buried the hatchet. In February I told how the boys were considering doing a tour and TV documentary. A source confirmed: “Boyzone hope to do some gigs and have an album out in 2008.” Edited November 5, 200717 yr by Dinno
October 23, 200717 yr If they think they'll be the next Take That in terms of comeback success, I think the lads are gonna be in for a MAJOR disappointment.
October 23, 200717 yr Hopefully it's all tosh, it's probably the toad asking if it's ok to put a greatest hits album out.
October 23, 200717 yr Probably because Ronan has gone to flopsville since downloads came in :smoke: Awful band.
October 23, 200717 yr i cannot see boyzone doing that great and they definitly wont match the comeback success of take that
October 24, 200717 yr Waste of time - people are so bored of reunions now, especially when it wasn't that great the first time around. also - ugliest boyband ever.
October 24, 200717 yr I wasn't much of a Boyzone fan but would be interesting to see them comeback! I'm loving all the 1990's reunions, so this will just make it even more better .
October 24, 200717 yr I think this is why Westlife announced they year long break. Louis wanted to keep the way clear for BZ.
November 4, 200717 yr ITS OFFICIAL - www.ronankeating.com Ronan has today confirmed that all 5 members of Boyzone will reform for a live performance in aid of Children In Need charity. They will perform together for the first time on the show on the 16th of November. Edited November 4, 200717 yr by make my day
November 4, 200717 yr Oh DEAR. There is Westlife AND Boyzone to endure now. I bet Louis wants them to do a duet <_< Strange they they are performing in a few weeks though, as Keith Duffy said on Irish TV that they won't be getting back until next year.
November 4, 200717 yr Good lord! this pic doesn't do them any favours, Ronan must be desperate to go along with this, in fact that's it in a nutshell, they're all desperate. http://i.rollingstone.com/assets/rs/10/3042/images/00151070_lg.jpg
November 4, 200717 yr I don't think they are desparate- were Take That, The BackSreet Boys or the Spice Girls or any other reforming bands for that matter. Keith is returning to Corrie pretty soon, Ronan is recording his new album for next year and has shows in Europe comming up, Shane seems to love his reality programmes! I think its just something they have promised their fans a long time ago. They have just recently become friends again after years of fighting, and said they would only reform for the right ocasion and for the craic. They have chosen to do this for Children In Need, so why not.

November 4, 200717 yr I can't see Boyzone doing well again tbh. Maybe for one single... same for Spice Girls, though the girls are more likely to succeed. I did like Boyzone but there's no need for them to come back at all... we have Westlife.

Their last album was only 2 years ago in 2005, and they were recording the new album since then.
