Also ... and this made me pml - I think it was on Juice FM today - the DJ said something like "And they wrote it themselves ... well Geri and Emma came up with the words and then they got some bloke to write the music' - you couldn't make it up! In the olden days - it was the melody maker who got all the kudos ... now any old tart can write a few words and be named a 'songwriter'. :D :D :D Having said that ... the guy who wrote the music in this case didn't really have to work hard I suppose! October 24, 200717 yr Its a grower of a song, it can't beat their other ballads but this song is great. I love all their bits apart from Mel C. She ruins the whole song in fact I wish her bit wasn't even there (still a mel c fan). It will Def go number one but I don't know if it will hold on for longer than 2 weeks.

The tune to this only involved re-writing the melody to viva forever anyway - and as we all know - that was in the style of a Beatles classic .... NOT! Do yourself a favour Spiceboy and read a proper book instead of celebrity biographies! And I'm sorry ... but none of these girls could write a tune. October 24, 200717 yr heard this for the first time today on Heart (my freeview was playing up :lol:) and i was very impressed, a definite grower but emma and mel c sound brilliant on the track, shame theyre solo careers havent faired better but its got to be a definite #1 especially as its for Children In Need Sales wise, im thinking possibly 200k and possibly a challenge for biggest seller of the year

October 24, 200717 yr Number 1 for sure. I'd say for 2 weeks. Its really retro isn't it, like going back to 1997, maybe it was written then. I like it in a nostalgic way. Typical feelgood but nonsense lyrics, a bit like Viva Forever. Anyhow probably best to go for the typical old skool sound as this is defo the last we will hear from them. Isn't Kylie releasing her song on downloads that day? I love her but would think this song is more appealing to trad Spice fans than Kylie's song will be to those expecting another Can't get you out of my head.
