Dance star MOBY has hit out at MADONNA's "obscene" $120 million (GBP60 million) record deal, insisting too much money is thrown at artists. The Material girl agreed the deal with tour promoters Live Nation after ending her longterm agreement with Warner Music. Moby writes on his blog, "I was just reading about Madonna signing a $120,000,000 deal with Live Nation for her touring and album and merchandise rights. "I'm not criticizing Madonna, not at all, but I sometimes wonder what people do with their excess money, and when do they have enough? "We live in a culture wherein there's a prevailing ethos that you should always have more. But why is 'more' always better?"

Don't get me wrong i'm no "Madonna lover" but Moby is an idiot. He's a complete tree hugger in terms of everything has to be about his mission to save the planet, which if is indeed his mission then he should stop releasing his dire music.

 

Yeah it is more money than probably 1,000 families combined would see in a lifetime but so what? She works hard for it and if they're willing to pay it why is she the devil incarnate for taking it? Bloody idiot, you keep your trillions Madge and when we see him living out of a soup kitchen then he can take the moral highground.

Madonna is getting paid that much because she is worth it.

She's an incredibly hard working artist who doesn't rest on her laurels.

If they didn't think they could recoup their money, they wouldn't have made the offer.
