Posted October 24, 200717 yr The Long Blondes have begun recording their second LP. The Sheffield rockers are collaborating with DJ Erol Alkan on the follow-up to 2006's Someone To Drive You Home in London's Mioco studios. The band have already recorded tracks called 'Nostalgia', 'Here Comes The Serious Bit' and 'Guilt', say reports. Talking about the process, singer Kate Jackson told NME: "It's amazing developing all these new songs with a completely different process from making the first album, because not everything was set in stone when we came into the studio. "We're all excited about being creative again after so long on tour with the first record." From Digitalspy.com Anybody else a fan? ^_^
October 24, 200717 yr I like them, I bought their debut album. I hope they can get more success this time around, they seem to have something more than most generic bands similar to them.
October 25, 200717 yr im sorry but The Long Blondes are reall really bad their guitarist cant even play
October 25, 200717 yr Sorry, but I can't take the opinion of anyone who listens to +44 or Reel Big Fish seriously. The Long Blondes are one of the best current bands around. They owe a clear debut to Pulp and that only makes them better.
October 25, 200717 yr and i cant take the opinon who sells "Brand New Chart CDs For Sale Starting at £0.99!" leave the fish out of this
October 25, 200717 yr Fair enough, although what my e-bay page has to do with my music taste is any bugger's guess.
October 25, 200717 yr Their first album was really underappreciated. Apart from the last two tracks they were all really good. Will probably buy a second album.
October 26, 200717 yr LOVE this band, their album was one of my favourites of last year and they were brilliant at Reading too! Kate sang really well I thought.
