I was really hoping for a number 1, but I feel really doubtful now  hopefully the world cup will give it a lot of promo, but she seriously needs to do more, and time it right, unlike DB when she did the major performances 3 weeks before the release
May 14, 200619 yr christina is there only competition, ignore crappy wannabe mcfly, they will just flop
May 14, 200619 yr Author yeah, but all the teen peopl will be rushing out to buy it. i think the world cup songs are the major issue. radio 1 have also playlisted maneater, but hdl hasnt been on radio yet
May 14, 200619 yr June 18th my predictions: 1. McFly 2. Embrace 3. Nelly Furtado 4. Christina Aguilera 5. Crazy Frog And Shakira around #8-#10.
May 14, 200619 yr Author im sadly thinking that atm :( im gonna try and get a voting thread up with loads of voting thigns so we can get in touch with radio's to play her :D
May 14, 200619 yr Author im thinking about #5 now :( then again, its been number 1 dozens of countries around the world, and if the download is released it'll be number 1 in america. if it gets number 1 there, ill be major happy :D
May 15, 200619 yr HDL is available on HMV for £2.99 for 12th June. Only 1 single this time. No sign of OF2 rerelease and the release isn't listed on top of the pops site.
May 15, 200619 yr it is a really bad choice to release it only on one cd :( im thinking lower now, the end of shakiras uk career :( i hope not!
May 15, 200619 yr No one has yet said about this track Cascada - Everytime We Touch http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5014 Dismiss it at your pearl! ;)
May 15, 200619 yr i shall listen in a sec i have a feeling xtina will not do that well nor dannii minogue
May 15, 200619 yr not a fan of dance music really Are you referring to Dannii? Dannii will struggle to get Top10 in such a packed week. In fact I'm confident Danni will be put back a week to give it a chance.
May 15, 200619 yr These records could go Top5 Cascada - Everytime We Touch Embrace – World At Your Feet Nelly Furtado – Maneater Pussycat Dolls - Buttons 12th June Kelly Clarkson – Breakaway McFly – I’ve Got You Shakira feat Wyclef Jean - Hips Don’t Lie
May 15, 200619 yr Author I highlighted Cascada as competition. i havent heard it myself, but ive heard a lot of buzz about it. releasing 1 version is a bad idea, DB only got to 9 with 3 versions, and at £2.99, Sony really are pushing there luck. Is there even a release date for the OF2 re-release yet? :( Jack, I actually do have the same fear as you. im beginning to think that if the mighty HDl cant do well here, then the UK really are not bothered with her :( I really hope im proved wrong.
May 15, 200619 yr no i meant Cascada - Everytime We Touch and yeah i think this could be the end for shaki but i truely believe that
May 16, 200619 yr I think HDL will do better than Don't Bother as it is a far better song & hopefully it won't be killed by too early video airplay which is what happened to Don't Bother. By the way you might to vote for Shakira - Whenever Wherever in the Final 50 songs in the Record Of The Decade Final game. Click on link below.
