Dear god, I just heard on the radio that Daneil O'Donnell has been named as the most successful albums artist in Britain of the 21st Century. They are not basing it on sales but amount of top ten albums since 2000. He has had 8 top ten album. A bit of a silly way as very few big acts have released anywhere near 8 albums in six years. Still though, them announcing him as being more successful than Rob, no matter how, just pisses me off :puke2:

Louis Walsh Disses Robbie Williams

13 November, 2007 Words By CMU

http://www.musicrooms.net/rock_and_pop/lou...lliams_659.html

Louis Walsh has been dissing Robbie Williams claiming he was the "most talentless" member of Take That.

He told reporters this week: "I much prefer Gary Barlow. It is not necessarily the most talented people who make it to the top in the real world. Robbie is a great showman but I just don't like his voice".

Ah well, being a great showman pays nevertheless. There were reports yesterday that Williams earned £32 million in 2006 by simply playing 44 concerts. Or at least that's the spin being put on the news that his own company, The In Good Company Co Limited, paid him £32 million in that period. Financial reports from the company also reveal Williams has earned £67 million from his music since the company was set up in 2002. So I guess Louis Walsh not liking your voice really doesn't matter.

I know similar have already been posted, but I love how the last part of this article has been written. A real "screw you Louis Walsh"

That's a real UP YOURS to the 'orrible Mr Walsh!
I agree....it really must & DOES get up Loui's nose.....O' Happy Days......................

Neighbours 'prefer Robbie to Jane'

Party-loving pop star Robbie Williams was a more considerate neighbour than ex-Bond girl Jane Seymour - because he kept noise levels to a minimum, a court has heard.

Retired major Mark Strutt said there had been few problems in the tiny parish of St Catherine, near Bath, until the Hollywood actress started hosting late-night parties at her country home.

Even the likes of Robbie Williams and rock band The Cure failed to prompt any complaints when they stayed at St Catherine's Court in the sleepy village. But when Seymour, who starred in the 007 adventure Live and Let Die, decided to hire out the Grade-I listed mansion for elaborate parties, weddings and corporate events, her neighbours claimed she was ruining the tranquility and character of their community.

The already-strained relationship between Seymour and the villagers plumbed new depths, when she successfully applied for a 24-hour alcohol and entertainment licence in May. They claimed the Grade I-listed venue was totally unsuitable for hosting large bashes and a single track lane near the mansion was often clogged up with lorries and vans.

Homeowners took their fight to have the entertainment licence amended to Bath magistrates' court.

Mr Strutt, who represented the parishioners, said Seymour had caused few problems when she first took over the house, and even leased the mansion out to rock stars without upsetting local residents.

"The house was leased out as a premises, which was used by the likes of Robbie Williams and a pop group called The Cure. They would come down and stay there and compose their music. You would think having these pop groups down would be horrendous. But the then manager made it absolutely plain that the premises was in a noise-sensitive area and made an undertaking noise would be kept to a minimum, which it was.

"The whole scene started to change in late 2000, when it became normal for large events, one-day events, wedding receptions to be held at the house."

Parish chairman Ian Plaister told the court that he had held a number of "cordial" meetings with Seymour's husband James Keach over the villagers' concerns. He claimed he was told last year that the couple were planning to scale down events at the house and rent it out to small groups, a few times a year - but this never materialised. Mr Plaister said dialogue between the two factions ended after Seymour, 56, and Keach failed to respond to letters and phone calls. "We have tried everything we can to avoid these proceedings," he said.

Several villagers were called to give evidence about the noise problems caused by the parties held at Seymour's house, during the second day of the hearing. But Graham Gover, for St Catherine's Court, claimed the owners had complied with the licence and the residents' complaints were not relevant to the appeal.

Who would have thought Robbie Williams had this kind of star power?

The Brit singer is raking in close to US$67 million over his upcoming nine-month world tour. Hold on, let me break it down — that’s $7.3 million per month, and $1.5 million per concert!

Robbie Williams? Seriously? His last album bombed! Is he giving away tickets?

Stockings filled with hope

Macmillan Cancer Support is hoping that City types will dig deep next month when it holds its annual Celebrity Christmas Stocking Auction.

Sir Paul Smith and Alice Temperley, the fashion entrepreneurs, will join the likes of Robbie Williams, Sienna Miller and Helen Mirren in compiling lists of what they would like to have in their dream Christmas stockings. The stockings will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder from a crowd of 400 bankers and other high net-worth individuals. Macmillan hopes to raise £300,000 this year.

I wonder what is in Robbie's stocking? Twinkle can't be in it again this year surely!
