Posted November 5, 200717 yr http://www.fortunecity.com/campus/chemistry/396/ki12.jpg Westlife have apparently spoken out about X Factor finalists Futureproof - saying they won't work together as a boyband. "I can't really see it working," Kian told Reveal magazine. "The problem is that all the boys in Futureproof auditioned to be solo artists, so there'll be a lot of competition over who gets to sing what. "I'm sure it's pretty rosy at the moment because they're doing something they never expected to be doing but I just don't see it lasting. "You can't take five guys, put them together in a band on such short notice and throw a lot of fame at them. It can work with an individual, but with bands there's an awful lot of other stuff involved - particularly egos." The boys added that when Brian quit three years ago - it altered the dynamics of the group. "That scared the life out of us," Kian continued. "But it worked out to our advantage. It allowed us to reinvent ourselves as a four-piece and give ourselves a new lease of life." Edited November 5, 200717 yr by Dinno
November 5, 200717 yr Author I hate to say this but kian have got some points there i "bolded" the part i agree with him on.
November 5, 200717 yr Thanks Dinno. Nothing's going to come of it anyway - they got voted out on Saturday so they haven't got backing. Phixx was formed from also rans and only lasted a short time.
November 5, 200717 yr They have a point, personally i just think they should go their seperate ways, they just don't look right together.
November 5, 200717 yr ironic though, seeming as it looked like they were being modelled on Westlife

November 5, 200717 yr I don't know if you watched the show on Saturday .....those suits  The only thing missing was the stools. Poor lads. Cowell styled any individuality & personality out of them. He never intended them to go far in the competition.
November 5, 200717 yr Poor lads. Cowell styled any individuality & personality out of them. He never intended them to go far in the competition. Simon is a master at manipulation - sometimes it works......sometimes it doesn't ;)
November 5, 200717 yr They looked quite odd together. I didn't like the little guy cuz he looked quite scary too !
November 5, 200717 yr I feel sorry for them but its true they wont work they havent enough fans to keep them on x factor and so they prob wont have many fans buying their songs
November 6, 200717 yr I prefered Future Proof to Hope though. But not FP's songs. I think they should have gone down a more 5ive route. If they did something like If Ya Getting Down. They would never have left the competition in my opinion
