Alisha, Rhydian and Hope are the standouts tonight, for me.

Beverley's performance was pretty average, IMO. She put way too much power, vocally, into a song that isn't supposed to have that much power, and it didn't work.

I didn't enjoy Niki's performance this week. Aside from her singing out of sync a few times, it seemed like she didn't want to perform the song in the first place and it showed unfortunetley.

Leon looked stiff on stage when he was walking around waving his arm about like a robot. Vocals were pretty shaky in places too.

Didn't like Andy's performance. If there's any justice, he'll be in the bottom two.

Same Difference's performance was boarding on cringeworthy, unfortunetley. I like these kids a lot, but damn...Don't push it.

Who else is there? I think that's it.

Anyway, tonight's show was disappointing on the whole.

Andy and Leon in the bottom 2

Andy to go home

I really hope Rydian does NOT win

I really hope he DOES win, because otherwise we will have to settle for a Michelle McManus/Steve Brookstein winner because no one else is good enough to deserve to win.

Top to bottom tonight (Out of 10)

1 Rhydian (by a country mile) 10

2 Same Difference 7

3 Beverly 6

4 Alisha 6

5 Andy 4

6 Hope(less) 4

7 Leon 2

8 Niki (She did a "Rosie Ribbons" tonight) 1

I predict the GBP will make the bottom two:

Niki & Beverly

with Beverly being voted out. :o

Beverley, Hope and Same Difference were my favourites tonight.

I think Niki peaked too soon in the competition and would not be at all suprised if she was in the bottom 2 tonight.

I'm trying to get used to Rhydian as it is obvious he is going to win. Vocally, he is very good and I really hope all the silly stuff has stopped for good (according to the papers he wasn't happy with it either) Not sure he's going to have a long career though

Surely it's Andy's time to go now. During boot camp I made an early prediction that he'd win, but he has not been able to deliver on stage at all.

Alisha took a step back in my opinion, but was still quite good and the song suited her voice. My fear is that she'll be forgotten as it's not a very strong song.

Leon looks stupid, but his voice isn't too bad. Awful song again though. I imagine he'll be safe.

I wouldn't mind Beverley going; she has no future in the contest. Niki should be final 3 though so she has to stay.
I don't get why Same Difference are seen as the 'jokey' act, Yes there more pop then most, but they have better voices then most of the contestants in there.
I agree. They really didn't put a foot wrong tonight, and it's a hard song to sing! Plus they can really move.

I'm sure Louis is giving Same Difference a hard time because Simon gave The MacDonald Brothers one (rightfully so, too) last year.

Pfft.

Niki & Beverly

with Beverly being voted out

Are you joking? ... That CANT happen - they're the two most talented singers in the competiton.

To me Same Difference should win the competition! They are defently not given enough credit. They had the hardest performance tonight with all the moves to remember, singing the song and all the jokey bits with it as well.

They put on a performance, not just sing. 1 of only a few that actually do this in the competiton.

This is the X Factor, not just a vocal competition. B really is for Boring when it comes to Beverley.

Betfair current odds (21:00 Hrs): 4th eviction

Andy Williams 8/13 on fav

Leon Jackson 4/1

------------------------------

Same Difference 13/2 :o

Alisha Bennett 16/1

Hope 22/1

Beverley Trottman 50/1

Niki Evans 66/1

Rhydian Roberts 450/1

Pfft @ those odds.

Quick Question:

If Hope & Same Difference are in the bottom 2, who will Simon get rid of?

I really hope he DOES win, because otherwise we will have to settle for a Michelle McManus/Steve Brookstein winner because no one else is good enough to deserve to win.

Rhydian was fabulous tonight. He sang a song that I personally hate, so well, I actually thought it sounded like a good song! I also thought Same Difference were kitsch enough to stay in another week. Beverley and Andy were average. I actually liked Sharon's choice of song for Alisha - and thought she didn't do too bad - she seemed more comfortable with the high notes but a bit flat with the low notes. Either way - for me - she was much better than last week - as I thought she slaughtered Valerie. I missed the others. Saw Hope but I'm not even going to comment.
