Wyclef Jean "Hips Don't Lie - Bamboo (2006 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ mix)." In addition, dance, hip-hop, house and "Bamboo" mixes will also be sold as ringtones.

The Official Melody of the 2006 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ will receive extensive exposure during all FIFA World Cupâ„¢ events, including cross-promotion and in sponsor advertising spots from such advertisers as Adidas, Avaya, Budweiser, Coke, Continental, Deutsche Telekom, Emirates, Fujifilm, Gillette, Hyundai, Mastercard, McDonald's, Phillips, Toshiba and Yahoo.

 

Through the deal, Kobalt is working with FIFA's concept developer, Engine AB an MTG company, which is FIFA's exclusive agent for the creation and supervision of the overall music program for the 2006 FIFA World Cupâ„¢.

I already have the song but Ill probably buy the album to add to my shaki collection. I think this version will work the crowd up more than the normal version.

As far as I understand, the chant is like a 30 second ident that "Bamboo" created and will be used before every world cup match is shown. This version isn't necesarily the Shakira chant. The artists doing the official World Cup songs, Shakira and Il Divo have incorporated the chant into their songs.

I think it is better for the world cup than the normal version, it's easier to sing along with because of the chants, which crowds will like ^_^

to be honest, after listening to the better quality version, i hate the version. It's no longer hips dont lie, it's comepletly a different song
