and.. Jasna, that from the english exam... I had the same problem two years ago :( But I missed my trip :cry: All my class went, and they told us how nice it was, and I was doing a stupid english exam :angry:

 

and that I suffer insomnia... It's not exactly that, I sleep, but from 5 in the morning till 11 (more or less) :( So I'm tired all the day. I expected Osiris to be on this night.. but he just went away and left me here alone :cry:

awww you missed your trip :( I was lucky because the exam was in the other town! The first one was in my town on the day of the trip so when I found out I can do both, just do the exam a few weeks later, I was so happy! That was the last trip of us as a class :wub: ah good old days *sigh*

 

What's up with you all and insomnia or..lack of sleep :wacko: I was watching TV till 1am yesterday and my mom walked into the room like in the middle of the day and sat down and watched TV with me :lol:

Don't worry, you'll go to bed earlier. You'll be so tired from school that you'll crash on your bed the minute you see it! :P Also, don't spend too much time on the Internet, it's not healthy :nono:

I know it's not healthy... and although I'm spending a lot of time here, I'm trying to read and do other things... ^_^

I can understand most of it :wub: Can't spell almost anything :( My plan was to study Spanish at the university, but decided last minute to take up German because I studied at school... my wish though is to take up a Spanish course one day when I'm earning my own money :wub:

yes, German... I've realized it's better for my future because more Germans come here than Spanish, although this year there were more Spanish tourists than ever!!!!! :cheer: + I already know some German + I have a diploma in German, proves that I'm a C1 level (I think, not sure). The entrance exam (at uni) was so easy :lol:

 

It's also some sort of testing myself.... I've always struggled with that language and now I want to study and make it! I want to finish it! It can't be that hard. If so many people can speak German, why not me as well? :P

 

You can always be my little Spanish teacher :wub: You can post in Spanish and I'll reply in English :lol:

Hehe, if you want you can answer on German, too! then you learn spanish and german at the same time, don't you think?

My English is better than German, too. German is just too complicated sometimes! like you said, too many articles.... and I hate it when they start talking fast... I have to concentrate so hard <_<

 

My last Cambridge diploma was FCE and I started the CAE class but the price of the exam was too much for me :( I begin with English classes at uni in October and I think FCE is the starting point :heehee: :cheer:

I can speak English, German and I learned Italian at school. Can understand most of it and speak a little. Better than Spanish but waaaaaaayyyy worse than English and German :( We had 3 or 4 teachers in 4 years of high school which made it all worse...

Yeah I watched them in Spanish but with Croatian subtitles :P all shows and films that are in foreign languages have subtitles in Croatia :lol: Nothing is synchronized, only cartoons that are shown in the cinema because it's expected that only the kids will see them :rolleyes:

why are subtitles strange to you :o isn't it better to listen to the original than for example, Rocky speaking in a squeaky Spanish voice or worse :o speaking Chinese or Russian or.. You see the person moving his/her lips and the voice comes out 30 seconds later :lol: + they usually all have the same voice

here in Spain we never have subtitles! they're horrible. and each character has his own voice, and there no time between the picture and the voice.. it's more or less at the same time. The only thing I hate is when they change the voice. For example, Bruce Willis's voice (from the translation, of course), translating Morgan Freeman! :angry: It's awful! :puke2: I don't recognize actors, only their Spanish voice xD

You can be like me ( :lol: ), if you like languages, study them and never give up. I adore foreign languages. In school, my friends always liked Biology, Art, Chemistry,... and I loved when we had dictations and writing exams :heehee:

My problem is that I love languages... and sciences! My science teachers always say that I should continue learning that, because I don't memorize (auswendig lernen) but I understand.. and then I speak with my german/english/french teachers and thay say that my pronunciation, etc are really good, and that I could study this and would be easy for me. So I just don't know what I prefer! atm I'm learning everything I can.. but somewhen I'll have to choose :( and you said you like writing.. I adore it! if teh teacher says one page, I can write two and half :whistle: I love it!
