I thought I'd make a new topic for this seeing how quiet things are lately, and how this is the first proper bit of news in so long

British singer Robbie Williams has earned himself a whopping $64 million (£32m) in just under 9 months - thanks to his recent world tour.

According to reports, Williams’ business, The In Good Company Co Limited - made the payment to him for the period March 31 to December 31 2006.

According to Britain’s Mirror Newspaper, during the 9 months, 33-year-old Robbie performed 44 gigs in 14 countries to 2.6million fans - a schedule that seemingly left him hooked on anti-depressants and checking into rehab.

He later said: “I’m not built for it.”

Companies House documents prove that the concerts netted the ‘Feel’ singer earned almost as much as he earned over the previous four years.

Robbie has now earned roughly $129,000.000 from his business since it was set up in March 2002 after he signing his lucrative deal with the EMI record label.

One industry insider said: “People often say that Robbie is on the way out, especially after his last album Rudebox was panned by the critics.

“But this just proves that he’s still got what it takes to earn big money.”

Finally some actual news. I am so glad it has finally been confirmed how much he earned from the tour. I always knew it would be something huge and not £5m like the Sunday Times claimed. Just goes to show how they can't be trusted, although perhaps next year they will add this 32m in to take him upto £130m It's really great to read something factual and positive like that, especially from the Mirror of all papers who do nothing but slag him off :D

But they still made a few mistakes, I mean it was a 59 date tour, and he played to 3.5m people not 2.6.

£32 million quid? :o

Why, that should keep him in ciggies for a whole month!

Poor Rob. It's looks like the British craploids have been right all along and his carear truly is flagging. Imagine only getting paid $7m per month. :(

He gets paid well over $1m per concert it seems, which lasts for 2 hours tops. Over half a million an hour is just so much money. Few singers in the world get paid anywhere near that amount. ^_^

poor rob indeed :teresa:

only $7m per month :drama:
