'X Factor' winner Leona Lewis has set a new British record for the fasting-selling debut album.

The singer's 'Spirit' clocked up 375,000 sales last week - beating Arctic Monkeys by 12,000 sales - they set the previous best in 2006 with 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not'.

The album is now the fourth-fastest selling record of all time in Britain, behind Oasis' 'Be Here Now', Coldplay's 'X&Y' and Dido's 'Life For Rent'.

Oh dear -_-

Dont get me wrong, Leona's album is decent. But its nothing compared to 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not'

i think they're both amazing :D
I've lost all faith in the music buying public :(

Totally agreed, this evil TV show needs to be stopped, and has also taken the fun out of clinching the Christmas #1.

Why on earth is Dermot O'Leary hosting it for!!!?.

Well, at least seeing the Artics get namechecked on Holby City a few times tonight was pretty cool  .
