Oooh want to her Tash's and Liz's solo's on that album. Hope the single goes top 10 so that it encourages them to get back together or at least try an arena tour.

:huh: :rolleyes: Have you not read the whole post? The single has been recorded and is on youtube. Kerry Katona hasnt been part of Atomic Kitten for years - she has nothing to do with the reunion which IS happening (be it temporary or not).

Why is everyone saying it's gonna flop :unsure: it's not being released! It was just recorded for that album ;)
there are so many rumours going around,does anyone know for definite if this is going to be released as a single or not??

And this artist info from hmv.com suggests that the girls are only releasing this single as a one off ;

The brief, shining career of the British girl group Atomic Kitten started in 1999 when former OMD leader Andy McClusky assembled a trio of young female vocalists to record his tuneful, glossy pop songs. A public in mourning for the recently defunct Spice Girls embraced their easy-going charm and bird-next-door sexiness, and their singles climbed high up the U.K. charts. The group called it quits in 2004 to pursue solo careers and other interests, but quickly made good on their vow to reunite occasionally for gigs and recording.

Ooh and now this from Liz ;

Atomic Kitten shall perform their version of Cilla Black’s “Anyone Who Had a Heart”, which will then be released on 28th January. Liz says, “What people didn’t seem to realise was we meant what we said when we vowed not to split the band up, we just stopped working together day in day out so we could take time to do family things and launch our solo projects. We kept doing the occasional gig, mostly in places like Moscow and Dubai as well as a few big UK charity events, and the Number 1 Project is a perfect example of that. We are all very excited to be performing together in our home town again”.
why is everyone doing the "comeback" thing lol

to be fair they never split up, they just went on a short break :P, so it isn't a comeback they are just releasing their next single

Even Cilla Black's 1964 hit was a cover - It was originally a minor UK hit & US Top 10 hit in 1963 for the great Dionne Warwick.

It was written by Burt Bacharach & Hal David.

Also Take That were away for 10 years and made a successful comeback whereas AK have only been split about 4 years

They never split.

I just don't really think anyone will care about AK anymore. I liked them for a time but I really am not interested at all anymore...
if it was a really good original song it might have done ok but i don't think this song will appeal to many people apart from mabye me and a load of old grannies, not that i will buy it like
they need to get it sold exclusively in Tesco! I will download it or buy the single as I like it and I still can't find a good quality MP3 of it anywhere
