Did anybody else actually like her, or buy the album? I was only 13 at the time, but I remember I really enjoyed it. I [like most people] then forgot about her music career. however, a few few weeks ago when I was listening to a cd by a Japanese band [Nakanomori BAND - check them out <3] it turns out the B-Side was a cover of 'Sentimental' which led me to pull out the Kym Marsh album and realise one more how good it is! :o

 

I wouldn't say it is amazing or that it stands out particularly, but it it extremely consistent, and the songs are really well written. i think she really showed potential on it.

I LOVED the album, your right - every song was consistant.

I liked her first two songs but I always knew she wouldn't do well on her own. I also didn't like at the time for splitting Hear'say up -_- (Or so my 13/14 year old brain thought)

i liked her solo stuff but i loved cry especially the almightly mix

all her singles were good to be fair many worse solo artists did better than kym

Very consistent album that deserved to go at least platinum instead of the 100k (give or take) that it did actually sell. Absolutely loved it.

I'm sort of glad it didn't work out for her musically .... because I think she's a fabulous addition to Corrie - a true 'tough' northern lass in the mould of Pat Phoenix. And she 100% deserved her award at the NTV Awards. Plus .... she's from WIGAN!

Sentimental is a great guitar sounding song , great lyrics and my fav song!
