at the time i remember a few people going how about how its dannii's turn to shine with kylie's single flopping and dannii's going top 5 and it annoyed the hell out of me at the time so i was cruelly dleighted dannii's album charted so low

I think some of Dannii's low charting is a crime. It seems she has this stigma where people just cant get passed who she is so they boycott her. I know that sounds stupid to say but I think its true. There allot of people that want to instantly like Kylie because she is basically, kylie! The british public love her. Granted she gets it in the neck from time to time from the critics but the media love kylie which in return meens the public like Kylie. The media often like to critisise Dannii. And for what? Yes she often lacks the quality that Kylie has but at the same time Dannii never gets credit when due. I really believe and have said many of times that some of dannii's songs could have been recorded by kylie and would have been instant hits. But the media and press never give dannii that kind of attention so dannii's songs don't get the exposure they deserve. And in the end, forgotten by all but the fans

I understand totally what you are saying ozmead but it has turned a bit lately as in dannii;s get a far better reception in the press than she used to plus i think the x factor will help her hugely,

 

Leaving music aside i think kylie became loved as she was always doing interviews and always came accross well so she was percieved well where dannii wasnt interviewed as mcuh which didnt help.

 

Since kylie got cancer and beat it kylie and dannii have been linked an awful lot more and this has firmly established them as loving sisters who support each other and not 2 sisters who envy each other like many thought for years,

 

Fir some of th ekylie lovers knowing this has helped them warm to dannii a bit more and i guess if i am honest i am one of those people.

cant believe some of those 'comments' anywho, hope he's red faced now with the very well respected number 2 spot shes in! 11, 000 for a single that according to some is a c**p song, her worst to date etc etc. well im glad kylie and her fans have proven the doubters wrong. im very pleased kylie is number 2 so far and just makes me smile after ppl slagging it off saying it wont be top ten blah blah blah. go kylie, well done. i love the song and think its one of the best to date, eeeek so excited
